I can't stand Dr Song's character. From the start it's obvious she forces false blame on Dr Frost to avoid her…
i can see there's nothing wrong with Song Sun's character and i think she's actually a very intelligent and admirable woman. for any other drama, i'd Love such a character to end up with the lead male. but in this one, she annoys me. because she's supposed to be a top psychologist; yet she is (and was) completely unable to understand her friend (Frost) 's condition.
she keeps getting upset and mad at him over something completely beyond his understanding and power. even imagination! she refuses to understand that, had he been able to feel, her words would've wounded him long before. in fact, i believe Frost trying to isolate himself has a lot to do with Song's attitude. and all the time i'm like "for God's sake, woman! you're supposed to be a psychologist!"
wow, it's actually a joy to see the only person hating on this drama is using such indecent words: you know what i'm saying; bad taste in words, bad taste in dramas^^
i can't believe so many people recommended this to me!
this should've been my type of drama but halfway through episode 3 and i'm already bored! will something ever happen other than philosophical sentences and pitiful characters or should i give it a rest? i'm not sure anymore.
Same as "Jewel in the Palace" for me. with the difference that the latter's characters had more depth to them than this and a bit more fantasy, intriguing medical and cooking stuff.
the only values were Dong Yi's warm character and LSY who did a flawless job portraying it.
Surprisingly good. i was skeptical at first (mostly 'cause Kim Hyun Joong is in it) but as it went on, it distanced further and further from k-drama cliches. to the point that it felt very refreshing!
less love triangle and more family. less boyfriend-girlfriend and more commitment. it's a simple teenage story yet somehow realistic and mature.
the acting wasn't great, but i knew that when i started.
i have to be fair. the music was one of the best K-Drama OST i've heard. i have the full album in my 5stars list.
the drama, well i dropped it after episode 5. as much as i admire Lee Jun Ki and Park Shin Dae's awesome performances, "My Girl" is all the same old poor girl and rich boy love triangle. the difference is this time, it's more like the European ones. the boy already has made up with his girlfriend, but suddenly finds someone funnier (and cuter, IMO) and there you go. they actually can make a sequel in which Gong Chan sees another girl (probably his real cousin) and leaves Joo Yoo Rin. and so on...
7?!! seriously? i wonder whatever happened to people's taste!
not so much hugging-kissing, poor-girl-rich-boy and girl-gets-drunk-to-throw-up-on-boy's-suit, i guess!
speaking of which, now that i gave this a 10, i think i should go and take one point away from other TV dramas i've rated. and i don't mean only K-Dramas.
and if anyone could recommend me something this worthy of watch, i'd be really grateful.^___^
i really liked the drama before the last two episodes. i figured cutting two episodes off may have caused too much damage so i better not comment on this one's quality.
seriously, you could've delayed it to some other time; instead of ruining a potentially awesome ending this drama could have had. specially for this particular story, the ending was probably the most important point.
everything, from relationships and characters' background to the events, were growing deeper and deeper, then the father-and-son thing and i was expecting the last episodes to blow me out. forget about actors and producers; i still can't believe a writer can let that happen to his/her story.
i will take for the future, note not to put much trust into this network.
darksmurfsub.com releases soft subs earlier. although, it can't be called "release": they are usually very basic translations for people like me who can't wait. still, way better than nothing.
I liked this drama a lot, but for me, the continuous fact that something would fall from the sky and put her in trouble and then, something else make up for it; and she'd do little in between, was a flaw.
Really don't know what to do with that drama. it has great actors like KMM. PMY and KSJ but i watched till ep.…
there's enough romance and chemistry there. of course, nothing like other dramas. if you're waiting for kissing and hugging, big annoying love triangles and girls begging the guy to stay, you shouldn't be watching KMM's works. the fact that's exactly why i only watch his dramas.
i've never been a fan of anyone, but it's really amazing when - while not being fond of K-dramas anymore (thanks to those cliche love triangles) - you trust one actor and only watch his dramas, you know you're going to like it and you are never let down!
p.s. i think the ending's gonna be sad or open. all of KMM's recent dramas ended like that.
It's funny, the whole time i was reading first chapters of webtoon, i was asking myself "wouldn't this be an awesome drama?!!".
DAMN it's gonna be amazing! this is best news^^
BTW, could they cast Kim Myung Min, it's his type of drama...

although it'll probably take quite a while before they reach ch.88, i hope they keep it going...
