Wow, that awesome ending! ^___^
Where was this drama when i almost gave up on K-dramas for all people were recommending to me, were stupid boring ones?
nice one. a bit overrated, but i liked it. the music wasn't deep enough and didn't capture my interest for long; plus, it seemed like the writer(s) were afraid of killing characters: like when someone has become too nice to live, their death could benefit the opposite side greatly and every dialogue screams "this character's gonna die today" then they get so close to death and it'd be magnificent,... and then they're saved! for a very boring reason!
anyway, it was a reasonable, quality drama which kept it up until the end. nothing felt cliche. oh, and the dialogues were probably the best thing: funny, touching, deep.
i remember I seriously underestimated this drama for years. O.O and i'm not even sure as to why! might be the Gods, death angels and supernatural theme. and the fact that i thought i'd have enough of LJK in Sageuks. then after a while i finally decided to give it a try because of it's music, and was surprised. it also had the cutest ending i had ever seen in dramas. ^___^
at first seeing your review got me worried "oh, God. it was certainly better than 7. o.o" then i saw you rating for the OST : a "1". then i was like lol "OK, don't worry. it's not a serious review from someone with much of a taste."
I mean it's like there HAS to be some jumping in time and couple splitting up for a while even if it doesn't make…
i agree the time jump is somewhat cliche, but i didn't find it confusing at all. who said they thought he was dead? it was obvious they already knew he's alive. Ho Jin said he had the position temporarily and Sung Yeol even returned the king's sword. i was wondering if he survived, but when the little boy showed the drawing to YS and she didn't get all teary, instead simply got embarrassed, i was like: "OK, he's alive and she knows".
and about the time gap, he probably needed a long time to recover mentally and physically without drinking Yang Sun's blood. had he appeared before that, she'd go all "drink my blood and heal" again. that 1 year gap also helped everybody find themselves. YS, LY, Soo Hyang and even Ho Jin (XD).
LJK here, looks exactly like one of those chinese miniature painting characters! not sure if it's intentional, but if so, it's a genius move. it added up to the mystical aura of a guardian vampire. ^___^
although My Girl is (and will be) one of my all time hated dramas, i believe it was LJK's second best performance ever(first is Iljimae. definitely Iljimae!).
Maybe it is just me, but I am kind o distracted by how "weak" seem the vampires in this drama. They…
i'm not sure which traits you mean but going by Dracula novel or some original vampire legends, even running super fast wasn't included. besides, in this drama, their normal wounds heal quickly; that bullet was clearly made of silver and the dagger is some kind of special wood.
yes. when they replace ChangMin. don't get me wrong. i admire him as a singer (all 5 of them, in fact); but i just can't buy most of his dialogues. his face shows no natural expression and his voice' tone almost never changes. it's so unnatural that it distracts me; even when everyone else do such amazing job!
so excited for Orange and God of Bath. my favorite artist's manhwa got adopted.
i always wonder though, why hasn't Annarasumanara been made into a drama yet.
