just my opinion; honestly, i can't believe you're comparing these two!
Shine or Go Crazy was so boring i dropped it at about ep.5. and it was a time i was so hungry for a K-drama. on the other hand, Scarlet Heart started when i was already very satisfied with 6 Flying Dragons and didn't expect to enjoy a historical anytime soon; much less one with many idols! but Ryeo surprised me. yet i fully enjoyed every single minute of it. specially that one particular episode we all know.
Why must Meng Yao die at the end?! :( I love Yuan Fang and Meng Yao pair~
really? to be honest, i had no subs for second half of the drama. and my chinese is almost not there lol i only could distinguish Er Bao saying the place collapsed and all. and then all the flashbacks. how could he survive?
Ka Suo does not deserve a brother like Shi T________T
So sad the new episode!
lol, that last sentence is exactly what i'm worried about as well
I agree about his love going a bit too far. but Shi, giving up his own life wasn't only for Ka So, but also for himself. there were a lot of reasons he died. he sensed sparks of ruthlessness in himself and didn't want to end up a monster because of his powers. he also felt guilt and wanted to repent. so he gave the life his brother saved at the cost of his immortal powers back to Ka Suo. along with the powers that would separate them (they'd definitely cast him out of ice tribe had they known).
you're right about Shi-Yanda. he probably didn't have the time to think about her, since Ka Suo'd filled his whole heart and mind. though Shi cared about Yan Da and Lotus enough to manage to save them both (so proud of him for that ^^)
@BiaTakari your english is just fine ;) yeah, i'm kinda disappointed as well. Ka Suo should've noticed sooner how troubled Shi was. but things happened so fast, Shi suddenly had to choose between his mother and brother and by the time Ka Suo sensed something, it was too late.
in my mind, the real culprits are the ice king and seven saints!

He does. in fact, only Ka Suo deserves a brother like Shi. you'll know in next episodes ;)
BTW, could somebody pleaseeeee kill the father ice king? he makes me so angry i'd burn the whole ice castle just to see him die!
Wang Wook made the right choice... If he would have chosen Hae Soo, his mother, sister and entire family would…
You have a point, but i think Wook could've been able to do something, anything even as insignificant as staying by her side under the rain. but he didn't. maybe out of shame('cause he couldn't back her up) or stuff. but she really needed him there. he also could use a bit of a brain and think of a way; like So has been doing all along. i like him being responsible and gentle, but he thinks too much when he shouldn't. even in Love!
about Wang So, i completely disagree. he's dependable and consistent. his status was actually way shakier than Wook. he'd barely managed to be accepted in the palace but risked everything and even used a sword to protect her. a sword in the palace! he was practically prepared to die or help her escape hanging! and he also got a family who are, albeit undeservingly, important to him. he's thoughtful when he should (like the poison scene, managing to save everybody. well, almost. but someone else ruined it.) and when need be, he practically throws away common sense (like jumping to Soo's resque. had things gone wrong, he'd have become a traitor!). some situations require you to act solely base on your emotions and to know the difference, it's a really precious aspect in a character.
i agree. i'm a bit disappointed in Wook, but i kinda get it. he was trying to protect his family. and couldn't think of any other way. not sure how So's character will change in the future, but so far, he's been the strongest. mentally and of course, physically.
I've lost my mom not long ago because she was ill... and the episode 11 made me think a lot about her :)…
May your mother rest in peace.
yes, lady Oh was like a mother to Hae Soo. And, i'd just started to really admire her character so her death was so sad.
I heard that the ratings aren't doing well is it true?
not trying to be mean, but I always find Korean's tastes strange. there are overrated dramas you can't bear til ep. 5 and are record breaking domestically, then there are the likes of this. personally, i often doubt a drama if it's doing super good in Korea.
though i think i can miss K2 with ease of mind lol i mean, it's JCW with an idol...

i wish it were longer. like waaaay longer
