i see a lot of drama comment sections are like this, the questionable characterization complaints is mostly directed to female characters. when f character isn 't perfect then shes a shtty character not enjoyable, if f character is perfect then she's boring. meanwhile m character flaws are forgiven or even found charming instead, and the littlest things got praised to moon and back

I wasn't convinced by the second couple until around episode 20-ish. Now I think they are lovely even tho I personally love YQ/YT more.

I didn't skip their scenes because Qingkui is an amazing character regardless. Also there's one scene of the second couple that made me cry (in a good way).
