Everyone seems to be frustrated at how the plot's moving but I'm actually amazed at how much the main characters have grown in comparison to the first time we met them in Ep 1.

Ep 3 when the main couple were eating snacks together at the start and there was a counter separating them and they were feeling awkward that they couldn't even do a simple toast and now in Ep 7 they're sitting together with Gyehoon sharing food from his plate to Dahyun.

Ep 5 allowed Gyehoon to start processing his grief for the first time since his sister disappeared. His link with Dahyun gave him an excuse to release some of the pent-up loneliness he's had for years. We got to know how hard it had been for him all those years since his sister disappeared.

Ep 7 is some major development with Dahyun too and how she faced that piece of shameless scum. Ep 1 Dahyun ran until her life was put in mortal peril. Ep 7 Dahyun was brave enough to face the stalker head on and put him in his place.

It's not going to be easy for them to come to terms with their feelings (Gyehoon in particular) because they are coming from different levels of emotional openness which I find to be very in-character. Dahyun grew up loved by her family while Gyehoon basically only had himself to rely on. His mother was unstable and his father was absent. He grew up rejecting any sort of romantic affection directed at him because in reality, he still hasn't fully processed his grief.

How is it so far, much romance, how's the chemistry, any love triangles?
I like it a lot. There’s a mix of genres but they all blend seamlessly into the drama. There’s romance, fantasy, mystery, drama, and comedy and the writer has managed to combine all elements well into the drama imo.

No love triangle. There’s the main leads couple and the second leads who have their own ship going on.

Romance is being built up bit by bit for the leads and not rushed so they are developing feelings for each other at a believable pace. Chemistry between the leads is great.

Yesss I really wanna see them be mutually in love 😭 I bet it's gonna be one of those cases where girl falls…
This is what angers me so much about HDL. I understand his role there is a love interest but his character is still SO UNDERDEVELOPED AF. His narrative in the story is so bland which is frustrating because he’s such a good, positive and healthy kdrama male lead. We don’t even really get to know him as a character outside of Manwol. They made him a perfect man with no flaws (well aside from being scared of the ghosts which he overcomes immediately at the beginning of the show). He’s just not fleshed out at all. Yeo Jin Goo had to invent so many things about Goo Chansung because the script gave him nothing. He even added some subtle stuff not in the script like wiping Manwol’s tears, etc. Korean viewers often said it was Yeo Jin Goo’s acting that carried Goo Chansung’s narrative because his story was just really lacking.

He had so much appearance in the drama but his appearance was mostly just plot device to introduce ghost of the week and give Manwol character development. Even the story of his mom as a ghost was just very, very briefly touched upon and was only shown to us to teach Manwol a lesson. Even them falling in love was not developed well at all and after they were already in love Hong Sisters expected us to believe that they won’t make the most of being together before saying goodbye?

This is why I’m loving Link so much with both leads being developed well. It makes me root for them individually and together.

HDL did him so dirty. I’m so happy to see Yeo Jin Goo starring in a drama where his character and the romance are being fleshed out properly.

I’m enjoying how Gyehoon and Dahyun’s romance isn’t being rushed and they slowly get to know each other fiirst while they’re still giving us scenes that tease the incoming romance.

I read some comments they praising the looks of the stalker and what a pity he is the actual stalker
Right? Or stuff like he's so handsome I already forgot what he did to the FL! I mean really?

I can't wrap my head around the comments swooning over the stalker. It's okay to praise the actor himself, his looks, his acting, etc. But to swoon over HIS CHARACTER in spite of his evil actions? Are you people okay? Saying stuff like omg why did they cast such a hawt actor for the stalker now I have a crush on him who gives a toss about the trauma he gave to the FL! It shouldn't matter if the stalker is handsome or not. Ted Bundy serial murdered a bunch of women by using his looks ffs.

Fangirl on the actor by all means but the stalker character himself? You need help.

Ep 5 was by far my favorite episode in the series. Ep 6 felt like a repeat of similar scenes we have already seen one way or another until the last quarter which I enjoyed.

Ep 7 preview looks like it will be Gyehoon’s turn to finally fall for her so I’m very much looking forward to that.

Why Lee Eun Jung did not go to police when her brother disappeared?
Adult disappearance cases are not taken seriously in South Korea, especially male disappearance. They are often treated as run away cases. You need major evidence of murder for it to be properly investigated.

I know I should hate her stalker but he's sooo fine 😩😂 why did they have to choose such a hot actor to play…
Ted Bundy was also considered attractive and he used that to charm the ladies, gain their trust and then murder them.

She doesn't tell psycho's sister anything? Lol how hard is it to say " your brother is delusional, a stalker,…
But she could also not really be the stalker’s sister. I think Eunjung is pretending to be the stalker’s sister to look for him because she has a different motive, perhaps revenge.

My theory is her actual little brother or maybe sister disappeared because of the stalker and now she’s looking for him too. Notice how whenever she’d talk to her dongsaeng in her house we’re never shown the picture of the dongsaeng.

But good point on it being senseless for them to go far late at night to talk in private.

I’m confused with the stalker’s sister’s behavior. Like did she know her little brother is bad
She may also not be really be his sister. It’s possible that she’s pretending to be the stalker’s sister to look for her actual dongsaeng who could have been a previous victim of the stalker.

How did this silly girl concluded he told her not to fall for him because he thought she could be his sister?…
Because at first she thought EGH liked her hence his extra kindness towards her. But it didn't make sense to her how he didn't want her to fall for him in spite of his good treatment. Then he learned that Gyehoon's sister disappeared in the past and she connected the dots.

ya u may be right but that hoobae told that she is stalker's sister
I just blurt out my thoughts / theories as they come hahaha. I don’t have any big theories for this show, I’m just going with the flow. My guess is everyone had a hand in it. I find Gyehoon’s dad (hasn’t appeared in the present yet) to be suspicious.

She could have been lying to everyone and using that as a cover so they will tell her where the stalker really is.

I think the stalker is not really Eunjung’s little brother. She is looking for the stalker but I feel like she has a different motive.

Whenever she’s talking to her little brother in her home, we never really see the picture she’s talking to. The only time we see the stalker picture was when she showed it to Dahyun’s fam. All the other instances of her talking to a picture we haven’t really seen who exactly she’s talking to.

I think she plans to have some revenge to the stalker. She thinks Dahyun is stalker’s girlfriend that’s why she doesn’t seem to really like Dahyun.

Yeo Jin Goo’s acting always puts me in awe. The range of emotions he showed throughout the episode is simply outstanding.

From simple pouting when Dahyun was cold to him.. to the confrontation scene with Euichan. The anger, frustration, desperation, despair. The ending of Ep 5 where he finally lets out all his pent up sadness from his sister’s disappearance.

I’m giving all the acting awards possible to Yeo Jin Goo right now🙌🙌🙌🙌

is the comedy good?
If that’s what you’re worried about (FL being the murderer), I think you should stick to watching until ep 4 before you decide if you actually want to drop.
