The second lead coupleās story is filled with resentment but told in a way that makes sense. Overcompensation…
Iām really sorry to hear about this and it must have been tough. The very rawness of their story is why we could relate so much with the second couple.
I donāt why few people say both the episodes showed the same story on repeat. Youāre missing the point. The first episode was his point of view and second one was hers. They have beautifully brought the story narration depicting the emotions of oneās lived experience and on the other hand how story is seen from an outsiderās point of view.
I just realised if this is from Kang Fullās universe, whatās the Lightshop owner, Ju Ji Hoon doing in the police station fighting with his brother šš
It's amusing how people get triggered either wayāwhether longtime lovers reunite after years and rekindle their relationship or choose to move on and start anew.
Just finished watching EP 2 and trust me guys this drama is just keeps getting better. The rating tanked because of a glitch probably, so watch it. RJE is growing on me.
Really loved the brother dynamic in this.Jae Wook absolutely crushed it.
Still not over the Episode 7 tearjerkerš The episode touched so much on the pent up emotions of the brother, misunderstanding of resentment and pure love for each other. Jae wookās character Ko Jun is well written and one of favourite character in Melo Movie.
I feel sad that gyeom relationship with sijun and jua is not explored further⦠the fact that he visited sijun…
Considering how well they explored other character dynamics like Gyeom with Jeong Hu, Director Ma, Mubeeās Mom, even I felt the they lacked in this aspect. But in an epilogue we do see how Si Jun is not good with words and both show up for each other when it mattered lights on their friendship. On the other hand Gyeom is torn as a result of their break up and when Jua showed up after years, he did try to patch them back together. As you rightly said, they could have explored on it a bit more but adult friendships seems can be complex.
SECOND LEAD COUPLE! I donāt know if yāll will agree on this but hear me out.
The second lead coupleās story is filled with resentment but told in a way that makes sense. Overcompensation turned into bitterness over time. When they met again after years, Si Jun struggled with the choice between rekindling their love or his career. From her perspective, she was overcompensating in the relationship while he remained unaware. She failed to communicate her feelings back then, and he, drowning in low self-esteem, couldnāt see what truly mattered. Instead, he remained stuck in the past while she moved on. Their ending to me felt justified and it ended on a bittersweet note.
This made the story even more compelling. Second chances arenāt always given. They take a toll, and not everyone gets them. Not everyone is lucky enough for their first love to work out. Some forgive and overcome the heartbreak, while others move on. The drama did an amazing job portraying the struggles of relationships in a raw and realistic way.
2nd couple ............. idk what to say like ....... i think if they had different ending it would be perfectly…
As much as we wanted that ending, theirs feels justified. From her perspective, she was overcompensating in the relationship while he remained unaware. She failed to communicate her feelings at the time, and he, trapped in low self-esteem, couldnāt see what truly mattered. Instead, he remained stuck in the past. Not everyone gets a second chance is a bittersweet reality of the drama ending.
I love Rom-Com but I'm extremely sorry for this time waste rom com.
Glad you love Romcoms, spoiler alert! This isnāt one. You know what would not have been a waste of time - next time try to see what genre the drama is about. :)
Leads relationship progress very early on.
No breakup with the first leads.
Happy ending - yes.
