It’s a slice of life drama and has got everything.
I’m sorry but I didn’t imply it was boring. It has got a 9.2 rating for a reason and over 9 rating in iMDB. The drama revolves around the main characters entire life on how they navigate through the ups and downs. If slice of life is not your cup of tea, I’d really suggest you give this a try.! The romance, the plot and everything else about this drama is 10/10.
This drama will be remembered as one of the best and truly unique. Over 16 episodes and 4 volumes, it brought comfort, deep emotions, and a strong connection to real life. The circle of life was beautifully shown through the journeys of Aesun and Gwansik, highlighting love, sacrifice, and how life repeats itself in different ways.
It also captured the essence of life from the eyes of both parents and children, showing the struggles between tradition and change, duty and personal dreams. Parents make sacrifices for their children, while children try to find their own path, often realizing they are not so different from their parents after all.
The storytelling was touching, filled with moments that made us reflect on love, resilience, and the simple beauty of everyday life. More than just a drama, it was an emotional journey that reminded us of love, fate, and the unbreakable bonds between generations.
I feel happy, sad, content, and completely overwhelmed after the finale.
Such a wonderful actress and will always remember you as YeongBom’s aeomma. You did a very impactful acting in it and may your soul rest in peace Ma’am.
Yeong Bom’s mom, the actress sadly passed away in February 2025 fighting cancer. Such a wonderful actress and did such an amazing job in her role. May her soul rest in peace.
What in the name of House Targayrean and Lannister happened???😂 Each week when we think we almost figured this out, the writers hits us with a curveball. 😂😂
Overall, i felt Kim Su Hyeon was never at fault… he loved Daon, but was simply aggressive n kiddish in love.…
If Jaemin was manipulative and psychotic, Soohyun was controlling and aggressive and treated Daon’s as a prized object that he nedded to acquire. He truly loved Daon 7 years ago but teaming up with Jaemin and falling under his grand scheme made him bitter and angry and his love for Daon had turned into an unhealthy obsession.
