The finale was absolutely perfect, delivering a rollercoaster of emotions, anxiety, anger, sadness, and, of course, happiness!
Iâm glad Jaemin Hyung didnât get the redemption teased in episode 7. He was beyond saving, and the story stayed true to his psychopathic, manipulative nature until the very end. He showed no remorse for his actions, which made his character arc feel more authentic.
Kim Suheyon needed a near-death experience with Daon to finally get a reality check and move on. His character was so well-writtenâhe was a victim of Jaeminâs manipulation, plagued by insecurities, and unable to express his feelings in a healthy way. Instead, he let his bottled-up emotions twist his love for Daon into possessiveness, clouding his judgment and turning him into a controlling presence in Daonâs life. I do feel for him, he truly loved Daon but by the time he realized his mistakes, it was 7 years and 7 episodes too late.
Ju Seonghyung, on the other hand, was the ultimate green flag. He always prioritized Daonâs feelings and dreams, protecting him at every turn even taking a stab wound for him while remaining endlessly patient and supportive. From day one until the very end, he was everything Daon needed and deserved.
And Daon? Finally free from the toxic grip of his Hyungâs manipulation and aggression, he was able to follow his dreams and go to Dubai. The latter half of the finale was pure perfection, serving us the beautiful dating era we waited forâthe hugs, the kiss, the undeniable chemistry. Watching their love finally flourish was everything I had hoped for.
After the weeks of tension and frustration they did a pretty good job keeping us on our toes of whatâs bound to happen. This KBL has set a new standard in the sense of plot, acting, cinemarography and what not.!!! Hopefully weâll get to see more of the actors works who did a splendid job in delivering their roles.
If you're sleeping on this drama, you're seriously missing out on a masterpiece. Park Eun Bin in a thriller? That's the kind of greatness I've been waiting for, and if you don't tune in, you're just gonna regret it.
Iâm gonna say the ending was unsatisfying and meaningful to the title at the same time. The boys made me laugh and feel nostalgic for whatâs worth. Definately worth a watch.
Clearly the red/black flags need to go. They both are beyond redemption for me at this point. They see Daon as an object rather than a person and needless to say, you donât destroy the person you love. Iâm so done with those two.
Let me talk about Seong Hyeong and Daonâs relationship in the episode. Eventhough he misunderstood Daon, the kind of green flag energy he gives when the gossip about his company hiring he resorted to protect and encourage Daon and bring him back to feet. Ju Shiiiii, how can someone not love this golden retrieverđđđ.
The way the story is headed Iâm kinda scared there will be some bloodshed coming up..
Ban Juyeon dismissed. Su jeong transferred to maintenance departmenet of Yongsung. Chief Kwon protected Ban Ju Yeon and gave resignation. Seconf couple possibly broke up. Ban Ju yeon probably made a deal with Chairwoman to get Su jeong her job back.
I hope Ban Juyeon completely cut ties with the grandma and the company and lives his life the way he wants rather having a cliche reconciliation with the grandma thatâs almost three decades overdue.
I love how the screenplay switches; the past, present, and the in-betweens. It adds such layers and depth to the storytelling, creating a rich, emotional experience. This drama is already set for being the best drama that gives us viewers everything.
This is not your average romance drama; it offers a fresh take on storytelling. The cast did an amazing job with the material they were given. However, I wish they had explored the curse in more detail. With only 10 episodes, the conclusion felt a bit rushed, perhaps a couple more episodes would have allowed for a more in-depth narrative.Lee Dong Jin went out of his way to help the one he loves, willingly putting himself in danger despite knowing the consequences. The story presents a compelling take on friendship, love, the stigma of superstition, and second chances. While some viewers may feel the drama romanticizes stalking behavior, I believe that was not the intended narrative. (Just my opinion)
- Detective friend Jung Hyeok was shown to have a similar isolated personality keeping his distance from the world.-…
Yuna is the girl who got beaten up by the stalker. Eun shil is Mi Jeongâs senior probably started having feeling for the detective perhaps. Letâs see how it unfolds.
