Im glad this reunion happened. But then again they cut off too much from this too. The pds need to know that we need all the scenes even if it is boring or not. And i think it was pretty obvious which couple might have made it and which might not have but i couldn't believe Seungil and Mingee didn't work? I mean even if they dated their relationship might not have worked in long term but what do you mean it didn't even start at all? How could that dude ghost her like that😭. And I feel Goeun and Igeon's relationship might have started working out after this reunion? Goeun's first choice was definitely Igeon during the ending but because Igeon decided to spout some dumbshit and goeun not approaching him directly obv caused the misunderstandings but now that they've cleared it all, like their Chemistry during the reunion date was off the charts 👀. I really hope they give eachother a chance. Jooyoung and Jaejin are literally match made in "paradise". Subeen and Heesun also seem to have a good future now that they've cleared the misunderstandings. I hope Minasue was able to learn something from this and have character growth. It was pretty sweet to see her and Mingee resolve their conflict too👏🏻 I hope they continue their friendship even in the future. I can't believe I'm this emotionally invested in people who i don't even truly know lol
Very good write up! I only disagree on I Geon — something always felt off about him for me (even without Ha…
Even i as a non-korean women found him pretty charming. I don't think he's that much of an red flag imo it just felt like he's kinda rough around the edges and pretty bad at expressing his feelings? I definitely think mentioning another person in date with someone else and complementing them so much and so many times is what gave Goeun the ick.
This was my first time watching Singles Inferno and just like they said it's a cheap dopamine booster loll. I really really hate the production team for cutting so much scenes. I get there's a lot of footage to cover of so many people but they could try lengthen the eps or maybe the episode time limit? And even Even During this Limited Screen time they push mostly the Love four angles/squares. Starting eps it was Mina sue and her minons and in the last eps it was Goeun and her minions. I don't know how the previous seasons and their screen time for the contestants worked but it still felt pretty manipulative? That's just how i feel🤷🏻♀️
Well when it comes to couples i personally found Jaejin and Jooyung the most endearing 🫶🏻 Everytime i saw them i was smiling ear to ear loll. Mingee and Seungil sure had their ups and downs but when they finally put everything behind them and got together, they were the most annoying people ever. I couldn't stand them ( in a bad way) Subeen Heesun had a pretty a rough start still they put in efforts (mostly Heesun) to work it out. Also it wasn't half bad to see Mina sue and Sam get together after whatever the fuck happened. Good for Sam, but from what i felt like is Mina sue didn't choose Sam because she liked him but rather that she knew he's the only choice she has left and the only choice who'll choose her. It just felt that she still wanted Subeen the most..? Maybe im just overanalyzing but I feel like seen a lot of people like Mina sue before... I did feel the most bad for the people who were left behind :(( But then again we don't know if the couples that left will even work out. we don't even know if they contestants even wanted eachother or were just participating for the clout. This was just my two cents and now im off watch s2 because people seemed to recommend it the most👀👀
Y'all can defend mina sue, but I mentally cannot. Even if it's all scripted, it's just too much to handle morally…
Idk if it's even scripted or not. Personally I've seen Alot of people both guys and girls having such personality like mina sue. And i agree with not defending mina sue.. she's so greedy, egoistic and selfish as hell. She's really not kind and better than others as she "thinks" she is🙄.
kinda disappointed in subin. i started liking him only after he put some distance between mina after she mistreated…
Like one of the panelists said subeen's feelings for mina sue never disappeared, he was just sulking. So he used heesun as card to just make mina jealous... Which she did feel and when he got to know his trick worked he was over the moon which game me the ick! He's the same selfish type as minasue which is why they click so well lmfao. Like they say Birds of a feather flock together 🤷🏻♀️ but i really hope atleast he'll come clean to heesun instead of the bullshit he's been spouting till now. I really am actually wishing minasue picks seungil for paradise and then mingee finally approaches the other men and get closer to them! So when he comes back seungil will know what mingee has been feeling.
I am sad Ye Jin is getting the least screentime ... I am curious about her thoughts, her point of view, or if…
Right? They way they just keep showing the same (mina sue and her guys) people over and over is sooo annoying like now i might just start skipping her scenes. The balance of screentime is so unfair. Like they should stop showing the same people or make the episodes longer or something. And i think yejin and hyunjae might even be showing their real personalites but get edited out because they aren't "dramatic" enough. I Hope mingee also start approaching other people too now and make seungil on his toes too!
I really want mina sue to know that she isn't that considerate she thinks she is. She's also so cliché and hypocrite, i know so so many people irl who are just like her. Obviously they're pushing her screentime because she stirring up drama but im so annoyed seeing her. Also i knew that subeen might be using heesun as just a plot device and i was right! Subeen and Mina sue really suit each other so they just get together and stay the fuck from everyone else. Hyeonwoo needs to step up his game and stop hesitating so much when he has so much competition 😭 i really love him and goeun together. Sunghun also feels so pitiful man acting like a kdrama 2nd lead. Minasue really needs to stop giving this man mixed signals when it's obvious she had ZERO interest in him. She just uses him to dump her emotions. I really also feel bad for yejin also, she probably feels inferior and insecure around other girls and has such low self-esteem which makes her not being express her personality and charms freely. That scene when she talking to igeon about she can't believe him being attracted to her and she looks old really broke my heart💔. And lastly i think Jaejin has to be the most funniest dude on the show. lmfao I'm always cackling when he's on screen. Seungil also is pissing me off like hope he actually goes to the damn paradise with mina a realise how big of mistake he's been making and mingee should getting close to other men and get to know them too.
This drama reminded me a lot of ‘My Liberation Notes’. The characters and storyline felt a little bit similar. But in comparison, My liberation notes is still better imo. I really liked the starting eps but I'm not sure if i like the ending. Sure it's more realistic but it felt so abrupt. Also i absolutely couldn't stand Daniel's mom 😐 she was just so fucking selfish and had the audacity to use her child as a shield. I really didn't like the 'is he the real father' arc🫤. Also wasn't a big fan of Junseo and his story. Except that i still managed to really like this drama lol. This drama isn't everyone's cup of tea but i still recommend giving it a try and if you do, be ready to Bawl your hearts out🥰
It was okay, not too good not too bad. Could've been a fun story but there was too much social propaganda honestly. And for all that buildup the ending was very anticlimatic.
Honestly the ending didn't feel satisfying because all the turmoil the mcs went through but i liked the last scene where the showed all the cast and crew, it was cute💝 Now that we are starting a new year soon i hope kdrama writers and directors will learn not to mix melodrama into a romcom, thats all i ask for.
Man i can't believe the lawyer died just like that without paying the price of his sins and we didn't even see the damn psycho wife thrown into jail. I cried so so much over moeun💔 also losing her family like that I can't imagine what she would've felt like. Also i don't feel like moeun could've gotten a better ending than that cause she was on life sentence anyway. And poor yunsu and her husband who died over absolutely nothing.
