If we want to be logical, it is not possible for Yoha to become the king because his mother was a maid and now…
Sounds right, however when asked, The Minister made some kind of remark that he would choose between the two whichever served the purpose better, or something
?? insung is a male lead while han hyojoo is a female lead. lol insung is still a male lead in other projects…
You need to read my comment without your snark glasses on. I said "I" miss him in romantic leads. I do, I loved him in It's okay, that's love.. It's ok if I miss him in that type of role, it means nothing but that. I CLEARLY cannot be saying he should play that type of role because I want it or because anyone else wants it. It's his life and career. In this drama he plays ONE of many leads , playing the parents of high school kids . Read the synopsis again, which mentions the names of the characters who are in high school and what the story is about, them! The 'parents' are mentioned in the last paragraph, without characters names giving them little weight. I think you should show some logic, when you look at that synopsis. The parents are the helicopters to the main storyline. My last sentence in my OP I wondered if he was choosing not to do romance..... because I don't follow celebrity's lives and am assuming that it is his conscious decision now. Which I am a little sad about, but honestly... I like him in romances, it's a just a simple comment about what I personally enjoy. I wondered why you felt a need to correct/comment.. but then I looked at your name. It says a lot about you.
I miss Zo In Sung and would love to see him in a romance again. His last drama, and this one, he plays the father of a teenage main character evidently.. Sorry, but he is still viable as a ML, I wonder if this is his choce?
It probably doesnt focus on cheating and its actually like a comedy drama. You sound really childish and the fact…
agree, I don't like to watch cheating stories, it just makes me irritated and I'm not being 'entertained'. That's just my personal feelings, so I usually just don't watch. I will put this on hold in case I read comments that she tosses her cheating husband to the curb, and he stays there, then I would like to watch. I have liked the FL since A Witches' Romance.
Sounds really interesting, and I love Song Zu Er... I also like Ren Jian Lun.... but not in romances. I need an actor that can portray that desire and skin ship that people that fall in love exhibit. Of course not everyone, but still, that's the kind of romance I personally enjoy watching. .
But that was what this drama was about.. they both had gender prejudices that they woke up from. If every drama…
well, I guess how often do you look for believability in OTT comedies? I don't think we're supposed to believe these people are like our next door neighbors or anyone we could know. It's broad comedy, and it's not deep. I am guessing it's not your thing..:) I understand, I could find some it ludicrous or worrisome IF it was meant to be a slice of life kind of story. To me, it doesn't make sense to pick apart their OTT prejudices about the opposite gender when this is the writers joke.
I'm at episode 4 and don't like the leads so far at all. Very jaded, have serious trust issues and both look like…
But that was what this drama was about.. they both had gender prejudices that they woke up from. If every drama starts out with perfect people, I would find it pretty boring. No room for growth, change, enlightenment...
Really enjoyed the main couple but my affection for the series was tempered by the ‘NoT LiKE othEr GirLs’…
Well, to be fair, it was clear they were showing he felt that way based on his experiences . She also had bad experiences that shaped her and she didn't care men too much either.
i dropped the drama because of the FL. I really cannot stand her childish voice and to me she does it purposely.…
Well, like I said, I believe she does it purposefully also.. But in this case, I think it's meant to fit the fairy character.. And about 1/2 way through the drama, when the fairy has been through some hardships and had some life experiences, her voice is less and less that annoying baby voice. So that made me feel it was a plan for this role. Why she does it else where there must be a reason but I can't understand it haha
This childish voice seems to be Esther's natural voice from what I heard in the interviews with her. She may have…
yes, I've seen her with this voice before.. but in this role, even when she wasn't playing DQ, about half way through the drama her voice started losing that baby tone. So, which time she is faking it, I can't say.. :) Also, her singing voice is a normal voice.. I think she puts on the baby voice because, for some unknown reason , it's trendy.
I really enjoyed this, I just finished it. I had bookmarked, but avoided, haha, because Xianxia isn't really my thing, altho I've watched a few. But the reviews made me interested. I will say that I hate childish FL's and childish voices and thought I might drop it. I'm glad I didn't . Dylan Wang kept me watching until I got over her voice, and by the middle of the drama she loses much of the childishness as her character grows and develops and you see that was meant to be part of her character. This is a Fairy Tale with a moral to the story.. so it could be considered simple.. or overly innocent/childish in it's telling, but I, for one, enjoyed it very much. It was very artistic. Most shots are framed like a work of art, the opening credits are beautiful, the OST is stunning, Esther Yu's performance took time for me to appreciate and then I felt very moved and respectful of her, and Dylan Wang was just riveting, beginning to end.
I know I sound cynical but when these actors/actresses vow "this person I want to be with me forever." Eg: Song…
yea, but he didn't say "I will be", he said " I want to be"... so it's more realistic.. Don't most people have hopes and believe their marriage is going to last, but sometimes it doesn't.. ? not just celebrities.
Yeah you are just taking it too seriously. She's in an otome like game. If you ever played one you'd get it a…
I am only comparing the quality of story telling, writing and the entertainment that I felt in watching the three shows I mentioned. I understand that leeway needs to be taken when watching shows like this, but if I spend too much time rolling my eyes, I usually move on. I am not saying this is a bad show, and I like the actors, it's still just average tho imo . :)
I'm watching it.. but I can't take it seriously for the smallest things. She's a medical student but she sucks poison out with her mouth. She really doesn't act like a medical intern at all. Oh yea, the trope of giving medicine by mouth to mouth. I've always wondered, if they are going to give medication to an unconscious person ( eye roll) and can get their mouth open with a kiss, why can't they just open their mouth with a spoon, a finger, a chopstick? She wanders around freely all the time. She's assigned to be the care giver for the CP but she's gone for days taking care of someone else . She asks to be a medical student when she's been assigned to the CP by the QD. It's an ok drama. After watching the shorts My Uncanny Destiny and A Familiar Stranger, this comes across as dated and mediocre. Just my opinion, I'm still watching it.. :)
This is like a hidden gem. It's comedy is funny, it's romance is fulfilling, it's storyline is interesting, the acting is very good. The couples are sweet with interesting stories. The plot twists are good. It's well thought out.. I haven't finished it yet, I'm on ep. 14, but I came here to encourage others to give it a try. Edit: I just finished this drama. I really loved it. So satisfying in so many ways.
