The leads had made this enjoyable for me.. I tolerated the fast track pacing and mediocre dialog knowing it's a web drama and it seemed to have potential. But that ending made the whole drama become a ridiculous waste of time imo. They just sunk it..
Just saw the first ep. It's cute and light. I wouldn't say it knocked my socks off in any way, but mildly entertaining. I really like Shen Yue, she just has a radiance that glows from within.. I would hope , in the future, she will choose a role with more depth, more demands on her acting ability . I have faith she can do it, and I'm here for it and I don't want her to be looked over if a role calls for maturity and depth. No hate here, love and support.
I remember when I saw in in Start Up, I thought, wow, who is he and why isn't he in more things? Would love to see him as a ML in a romance drama.. he had such intensity for his small role in Start Up.

I understand, but I think it's like the line from an old play called Butterflies are Free. Where an avant guard film maker is explaining how he's making his film to an older woman.. And his reasoning for his choices was 'it's real life', to which she responded ' so is diarrhea, but I don't consider it entertainment'. I always loved that line. And I think film makers are more about creating a fantasy, an emotional moment or a beautiful scene and they make an artistic decision instead of a real life, instructional one. Or, something like that:) haha

Like Love (I Love You As A Man). One of my favs, an oldie but really has stuck with me. It wasn't completely finished because of the Chinese ban.. It's quirky..But still worth watching, and if you want to know all the things that happened later you can look up the translated novel on Wattpad.
