Yes, how could you not love the sml in that version, haha He was there for her always! Saved her, was thoughtful of her, defended her, no bad family , no almost marriage to someone else, no dropping her while in another country, just constant kindness and support. For years on end.. I wanted him to :)

That was what I felt.. While some of the silliness or filler was cut out , some of the character moments were also, and I feel the story feels rushed. I think of that scene, which could have been cool of Gorya at the end in the boat as she slowly turns to look at the camera behind her.. As if 'we've' just found her after so long.. but it wasn't long at all. We are told everyone looked for her and it's been a year, but we saw none of that really, so it leaves you feeling like it didn't happen. Also showing Thyme in front of the board making decisions has so many whacking their forehead in disbelief. If we were shown some scenes of that year for him where he struggled and learned it would come across completely different.

But in all versions the lead male character chases after the lead female character, and the second male lead sacrifices, is there for her, and stands up for her and doesn't get the girl. I dislike that, but it's kind of written in stone from the manga that is the original source thru all the versions. If I remember right, in the SK version, the sml hangs with her the whole time she goes to Macau to see why the ML has basically dropped her in the year they have a long distance relationship and the ML changed while working for his company. There the ML rejects her , the SML stays with her. At the end in that version, the SML chooses the same career as her and stays with her while the ML goes off to do what he must for the company for 4 years! haha The sml is written to make us go wth are you ignoring fl?? haha

This is my fav thing I am watching right now. I def. recommend it.

I am really enjoying this drama. I just binged the first 10 eps. I really hope it stays as good throughout without too much unnecessary separation, misunderstanding, angst.. etc..

exactly, that's years of deceit. I can only believe the OP didn't catch what he has done. .. because that's years of betrayal. We see he had a poor and hard life now, so it's more easy to understand why he grabbed so hard to be successful.. But he chose to betray the woman who loved him and waited for him , used her to move up, so no sympathy from me.

yes, and I feel like , even tho they were short, I went through THREE 'seasons' to get nowhere. too bad.. I will wipe from me memory, haha

Agree, but oth, nothing about what happened to her was realistic. I mean, something magical happened to her, so I could expect that something magical could still happen.. and she meets him and there is hope for a relationship. :/ I am sad that ended this light weight and fun drama on that note.

yes, I enjoyed it, the humor was funny, the romance a slow burn, but interesting written against tropes, the second couple is fun, the acting is good, the mysteries are interesting, I could go on.. The main thing I would change is how often people fall from cliffs and die haha

true, but I also said 'showed humor again'. This had humor throughout. The intensity picked up, the angst and tension did.. But there was always humor and happy surprises. I know the dramas you are talking about, starts out lighthearted and ends in a bloodbath. This is not that. Sure there is sad things that happen, heavy things, but I think this show balanced it all out to keep you happy most of the time. It deserves a much higher rating imo

it's true it got more serious and darker, BUT, almost every time that happened, it immediately showed the way out of that sadness.. and showed humor again. That's one reason I really liked this drama.. It didn't turn completely sad for episodes on end, it never left you so sad, it always picked you up again in a heart warming way very quickly.

Well, I think the threatening of his mother was a game changer for him, and then he got convinced he could 'save' the ML and FL by going along with the CRS. It was sad to watch him waver since we all loved him so much, but I knew he would rejoin the good guys:)

Well, last ep today, I haven watched it subbed yet. But I know it's going to be a happy ending..

I completely missed where we knew where Nam Young came from. When was that shown?

It's a really good drama imo.. I have no idea why it's rated low..
