No, when l read the synopsis, l was really looking forward to this even though it has only 25 episodes, but only…
well, put together, it's like a short movie.. if you look on the bright side, haha.. altho, I know when it's broken in episodes, it def. changes the pacing and writing.
I am enjoying this.. in some places it surprises from the usual trope ( i.e. watching the FL sleeping in the car, however here she snores haha) I have fallen for Gigi de Luna.. What a beautiful woman, and her acting is fresh. I can't wait to see the whole thing, I am up to ep 5 right now.
The most BL I've seen from cdrama since Word of Honor stopped airing. Which is still not a ton but more than usual.
That's on my queue and I don't know why I haven't started it yet.. I should before somehow it gets erased/blocked totally somehow.. But do you know if this is based on a BL story?
the plot is kinda disturbing. I still don't feel the chemistry between Nam Young and Kang Ro Seo. I think second…
Well, it's called Moonshine... so... the prohibition of alcohol is the theme which they wind this story around. I doubt it's going away anytime soon. I do feel the chemistry between the MC, and feel like it wasn't there in the early episodes so much because the ML's character had a very strong vision of how life should be and he is finding himself doing things he normally wouldn't approve of because he grows to care about the FL. So he was closed off , uptight and a cultural snob imo. The FL's character has always had to be tougher than her birthright allowed and more secretive to save her and her brothers lives. It's a perfect story for breaking down all their preconceived attitudes and learned behaviors because they fall for each other.
I am really enjoying this drama.. and it's not confusing to me, I wonder why many find it confusing? One thing this drama is doing is not making everyone evil or good. Perhaps, that's confusing to some? These characters are all being forced to confront things in their lives and getting through them either to survive, to protect or get someone they care about, etc. Except for the truly manipulative ones in the hierarchy, of those I feel only the Chief State Councilor can be known to be bad. imo The Emperor and the Chief Royal Secretary are a mixture imo.. Having power they are both trying to achieve something they want, and protect it.. Is that a good thing or not, we don't know yet.
I am enjoying this drama. Every episode so far has some good humor, romance, character development, mystery and tension. I'm never bored because , so far, the story goes somewhere I didn't expect. I feel like in the end, the CP should become emperor, with the ML supporting and advising him.
The plot is getting confusing ,, the evil side isn't clear ,, I don't know who is with whom on the evil side ,,…
Well, to me, it's yet to be proven if it's a hot mess, or something that will come together. To be fair, not knowing who is really on the evil side is a mainstay in good vs evil dramas.
It not about body shaming but the FL looks so much older then the ML ,sorry but there no ways that this pairing…
It's about acting, haven't you ever seen any actors that aren't that attractive but that have great charisma and become attractive because of it? If these two act with great chemistry, the script and production is good, then that should be enough.
But I think the romance will be between Bulgasal and the woman who killed him, not his wife. We do not know everything…
I haven't even watched it yet and I have to agree with you.. The only point to make dramas 16 eps or more is to tell the story , esp. the back story, that you didn't know or expect.
Gone are the days when k dramas used to be inspire something which can be used in real life,it generally have…
While I definitely don't think dramas/movies/ books etc have to be instructional, inspirational or have a moral to the story, this one actually did. I guess you didn't agree with the lesson. Also, K dramas have always told many different types of stories not just stories that inspire you. But those were probably the type of drama's you watched because you like them. Just likeI don't like too much angst, cheating, darkness, etc.. so I avoid those stories usually.
I enjoy this show. I like the two main leads . It's not really because of Caesar Wu, who I find attractive but I am not huge fan. I like his acting in this one quite a bit. I haven't seen Zhang Hui Wen before and she's just ok to me. But , she not hard to take like I find many women chinese actors who are too cutesy and childlike for my taste. I like the story so far and I look forward to the upcoming eps.
Funny, I love those hats. they look awesome when the two leads wear them and walk together. Also, I find it interesting in so many dramas certain characters can be portrayed so differently. Even a heroine in one production and another a villain.
Lol guess you don't know the proper story of the little mermaid this pretty spot on. She dies and be comes sea…
I do know the proper story, but there is often artistic license taken to change the story, so it's never 100% how it will go. However, it doesn't change the fact that I am not willing to find out, after watching so many hours to see the characters I care about end in tragedy.
