Title Master of My Own Spoiler
I do have to say the ending of ep. 18 was kind of nice, it was getting back on track of what the show was with…
While I, of course, don't want the ML with the SML... I did not like the father said they were like brother and sister and shouldn't be together. . It's not up to him about their feelings. It's overbearing to tell them they are not right together and he will find someone else for her. But that's a parenting thing in that culture I think. I don't approve tho. But it's just about the drama in this drama, haha, and I think all is forcing the ML to confront his real feelings.

Title Master of My Own Spoiler
I am in the middle of episode 17 and all sudden it has become boring for me. I am co sidering fast forwarding…
I think there's a reason for that. Honestly, it makes the SFL zero threat.. If she was awesome we'd be more worried ( not really, haha, we know the end game). It just makes Ning Meng shine more, he's himself with her, and he will miss her, even when he's with the one he thought he was waiting for. It's a good obstacle to make the ML have an epiphany. :) Otherwise, wouldn't he keep being blind and treating Ning Meng the same way?

Title Master of My Own Spoiler
Finished ep 18 and I honestly have such mixed feeling about the loveline of this drama. ML is so different talking…
I feel he reveres a memory and she is a friend who was there for him for many years. Now she is suffering, so also of course he is being gentle with her. But, because of that, we do all know that's not his real personality, so he's not being himself with her. He's himself with Ning Meng, and she can handle him. I don't like how he demeaned her in the beginning, but he has stopped that actually, but he still is a dimwit in human relationships and knowing himself. imo.

Even when this drama has this sad time it's still up lifting. Ning Meng is taking care of herself and getting priorities straight. I love the way she's written. Lu Ji Ming has always had an extremely low EQ. He has to go through this to discover that was a childhood dream and he's grown out of that love. However, she WAS a good friend to him, and I feel, it's good that he's being a good friend to her now. Also, the more Ning Meng is separated from him, the more he will realize how much he misses her and how he misses her.

Why ning meng is the one that has feeling to ML first😤😤😪😪 i really wished ML was the one who found…
I think he had feeling first, but he is dense and didn't realize it. And in fact the way he kept helping her because he had feelings for her made her start having feelings for him. imo

Title If I Never Loved You Spoiler
And in the end what ml said "i have always loved you silently " ...like really? Iagree....I also haven't watched…
I feel like all of us that watch dramas could have not only written a better ending, but a better whole drama. WHY was this made? it reeks.

Title If I Never Loved You Spoiler
This truly was so bad. The writing was very immature, but more than that, the entire drama was watching the FL's character be mistreated and bullied... and guess what? HUGE SPOILER: In the end, ep 23 she told him she loved him for it. She loved being mistreated and ignored and bullied by him. SO.. if you like D/s I think this is for you.. not me.. at all.. The whole FL character was offensive to me personally. Her mantra was like -cr*p on me more, I won't leave you , even tho you hate me- . and there's no way to like the ML's character who is cruel and irrational.. Also, in the end, he's going to marry the SFL, yep, in the middle of the wedding the FL comes in to spoil it. But that's not self empowerment , like the shallow writers want you to think, but rather she is STILL fighting for a man who is in the middle of marrying someone else.. I hated this so much..

Really enjoying this. I look forward to it everyday and sad when the two eps are over. I like both leads.. of course the ML character is an *ss, that's why it's 32 eps, so we can watch him get a clue:) And we can watch FL rise.. I recommend this drama absolutely.

Anyone know the name of the movie where I believe Chris Wu was the SML, but they changed it and he got the girl in the end? The girl was made to be pretty ugly with really bad teeth and she made a deal to get surgery to look like Chris Wu's fiancee who is missing ( or dead, I can't remember).

Are they related or is their name just a coincidence?
When I first started watching KDramas, so many years ago, I noticed the lack of diversity in sur names. I looked it up at the time and it has to do with the clans from long ago. I just copied this when looking up Korean sur names " The most popular Korean last names are monosyllabic — like Kim, Lee, and Park — which together make up the names of about half the Korean ethnic population.".

Cute drama. The actors all did a great job and while it was cliche'd, the 3 main leads played it so well I was totally involved. The story also is done nicely. I feel like Keigo wasn't the classic ML just because he was beautiful. There were other aspects that about him that were funny , but I won't spoil. Riko did such a great job making her character likable and cute, so excitedly awkward or crying through her tears, she did it all well. Who wouldn't love Sora's character? All 3 leads were nice people and friend goals. Also, I think that many asian countries do attach such stigmas to scars but I feel this drama is trying to take the step to enlighten people and kudos for that.

Who said a scene by scene? How about an artistic way of showing the story..... there's a reason that episode got so many complaints.. it's disjointed and rushed. I guess we have to agree to disagree:)

I agree with some of what you said, but in storytelling, the journey is the reward imo... otherwise, it's just an overview of a story.. Or why not just tell us the bullet points of what happened?

But in all versions the lead male character chases after the lead female character, and the second male lead sacrifices,…
Yes, how could you not love the sml in that version, haha He was there for her always! Saved her, was thoughtful of her, defended her, no bad family , no almost marriage to someone else, no dropping her while in another country, just constant kindness and support. For years on end.. I wanted him to :)

The main problem they are facing is that they dont seem to be able to fit in the whole plot properly within 16…
That was what I felt.. While some of the silliness or filler was cut out , some of the character moments were also, and I feel the story feels rushed. I think of that scene, which could have been cool of Gorya at the end in the boat as she slowly turns to look at the camera behind her.. As if 'we've' just found her after so long.. but it wasn't long at all. We are told everyone looked for her and it's been a year, but we saw none of that really, so it leaves you feeling like it didn't happen. Also showing Thyme in front of the board making decisions has so many whacking their forehead in disbelief. If we were shown some scenes of that year for him where he struggled and learned it would come across completely different.

I think my biggest issue with ep 15 was the fact that I feel like Ren's confession to Gorya and rejection should…
But in all versions the lead male character chases after the lead female character, and the second male lead sacrifices, is there for her, and stands up for her and doesn't get the girl. I dislike that, but it's kind of written in stone from the manga that is the original source thru all the versions. If I remember right, in the SK version, the sml hangs with her the whole time she goes to Macau to see why the ML has basically dropped her in the year they have a long distance relationship and the ML changed while working for his company. There the ML rejects her , the SML stays with her. At the end in that version, the SML chooses the same career as her and stays with her while the ML goes off to do what he must for the company for 4 years! haha The sml is written to make us go wth are you ignoring fl?? haha
