I always feel disheartened when I read comments about age gap romances.. Everyone is entitled to their opinions tho. I happen to believe love is about people, not looks, age, race or gender. If it's a good story and done well, I will be happy. There are so many great actors that aren't model perfect, but it's their personality that makes them attractive. I don't know these actors but I will give it a chance.

Her last paragraph literally said " Don't blame people that dropped it..." and her point for her review was ->the first episodes aren't that good but if you stick with it it gets better.

Remakes are nothing new and having been going on in all countries since film started. I disliked FYRL intensely.. I agree, the ML acted like mentally challenged child when he was supposed to have amnesia, and the FL was just nothing special at all. Truthfully, I liked PTIF but always hope it could be updated. I also saw the remake Waking Love up, and enjoyed Roy Chui as the ML. But I have never understood what was lovable about a town of crooks? The FL, her mother, the Inn owner and his employees all do unscrupulous things, there was no one to like. FYRL had the employees doing such ridiculous, dated, comedy bits on top of it and I just hated it. I felt like the Chinese Meteor Garden remake was a sweet homage to the original. It had it's faults but it wasn't detestable. But Hana Yori Dango will always be my fav. I think the Chinese remake of You are my Destiny is a sweeter, more respectful telling of this story that actually has lots of cruelness in it. I appreciate there were several characters that they changed from being villains to likable loyal characters. I will only agree that I don't think Xing Zhao Lin is up to a highly charged emotional scene. BTW, you guessed alittle wrong about YAMD and how it plays out from you just watching the trailer.

I think the 1st ep of this drama is not a good representation of the rest of it. It seems like they tried to rope viewers in the that typical clumsy girl schtick, but that's not how this drama plays out. She is not a dumb, clumsy, rude FL, she is smart and efficient for the most part. The ML is actually the immature, petty, spoiled character that evolves. The drama is not earth shattering, but I am enjoying it . The ML is quirky and the FL is the opposite of all those things everyone is complaining about in the first episode that I can't stand as well.

yea, so we know she's is supposed to be older than him so why point out she looks 'old'? Sounds like you are backtracking when being confronted for disparaging the FL. Yes, the 1st ep had some lame typical dumb FL stuff. But it doesn't continue that way. In fact, because she's older and more experienced than the ML, she helps him a lot and figures things out for him.

yes, she goes back in time. I am up to ep 8.. it's a little addicting, perhaps because I have been able to binge watch.. It's quirky right now, who knows how angsty it will go, but I am enjoying it right now

haha true, I am mad at the drama.. It could have been so fun and different, instead they made it another harem story. imo

The leads are the only thing I like in the drama.. This is another harem drama where the FL is constantly tortured and mistreated. Episode after episode.. it's tiresome to me personally. This had a fantasy theme, but not until late in the drama does it show it's face really, it's all about the harem and evil machinations there. imo

What are you even talking about?? I run ad blocker, I was forced to turn off on Neko's site if I wanted to watch the content. I turned it off and figured 'fine, I will deal with some ads and Neko can get some compensation for the work', but the content wasn't watchable because there were so many popup ads that came up every few sentences it constantly stopped the video. AND continually tried to install malware!! I have repeated that here and in response to Neko. I told no one to install ad blocker.. You clearly don't know how to respond on this site to the right person , or , you know, read.

I love age gap romances, I like longer hair on men ( often, but not always) so this already has two pluses for me. I will give it a shot.

You should look at first ep. It's pretty lightweight . Altho, almost every Asian rom com can be lightweight and still have some angsty part, even very angsty parts, but I think overall this will be a story that is more fun about them outwitting each other and drawn together..

I loved him in Le Coup de Foudre, but to want him to play the same personality is unrealistic imo.. and actors usually get criticized for that..

I liked the first ep. This looks fun and interesting.. I look forward to their hijinks and finding out the truth of their past. Also, I get why commenters are crying ' sexual harassment', but it's pretty rare to find an Asian drama that doesn't have the ML leaning forward and invading the FL space. You'd almost have to complain about every romantic drama made so far. The times are changing, but they're not there yet.. I am going to hopefully enjoy this:)

I completely agree. I LOVED Kiss Me... I was always sad they didn't make the sequel like they planned to.

I , myself, DID appreciate the time and effort taken to sub and run this site. I DO think there should be compensation for Neko...I did turn off adblocker.. ..However, there were so many ads I couldn't get through any small scene with a few sentences without the video stopping and my having to close the many popup windows. It was unwatchable.

I would gladly allow ads from your site. I love that you take your time for subbing and appreciate it so much. I turned of my adblocker software for your site, but not only were the ads so constant, stopping the video making in completely unenjoyable, but they constantly tried to install malware on my computer. I tried to alert you to this in a private email in case you didn't know, but I couldn't find a place on your site to contact you. Sure, I can just go elsewhere, and I have , but I thought you should know. I would even donate by paypal and skip the ads if that was a choice.

I had to give up.. I have ad blocker on my computer, but had to turn off to watch.. No prob, I have no problem with them making money from ads and appreciate the subs. But the ads not only popped up every 2 minutes or so but constantly tried to install malware on my computer!!! I use Avast and it alerted me constantly!!
