Sad. This drama is showing the NK people as just people who live their lives. There are hardships and happiness and an oppressive government. What that Christian group is saying and calling for makes me feel like THEY are no different that the NK government with inclusiveness, narrow mindedness, controlling and oppression of freedom.

I like this a great deal... the only drawback for me is it appears , so far, like they have the same relationship throughout.. The have feelings for each other, but never really act on them except for protection, furtive glances and jealousy.. That's cute, but I saw previews for ep. 32 and that is still where there relationship is at :( I understand pacing, since it's 55 eps.. but that's a long time with him being cold and her happily chasing after him.

yes, I watched the first ep yesterday before I replied above. But they say the second ep isn't for 6 days? Which here on MDL it says the eps will come out on Fri and Sat. Plus yesterday when I watched it said that ep 1 was 90+ subbed where today when I checked it said 83% subbed.. So, it's odd, but still I I enjoyed ep 1.

I really liked this one. The FL wasn't annoying, childlike, not a doormat nor helpless. That's a big plus for me in CDrama's. I liked the ML, he was new to me, I found his character somewhat aloof which didn't create a lot of passion between the main couple. But oth, I still liked him and it fit. I liked the second ML a lot. He was selfish but I felt his pain. Also, nice, a few times when I thought " oh, here comes' the misunderstanding".. nope, they didn't go that way. My only real complaint it the choice the FL character made towards the very end. It was TOO much imo.. but it was a good ending anyway.

Well, I think it is in keeping with the times this is set in. If we watch a story about ancient history should we white wash as if there wasn't slavery? And concubines? etc.. I don't like those things but it was the way of life then.

I am at ep 12 and enjoying this CDrama a great deal. I enjoy the main couple, good chemisty, romantic and funny so far. Her character is pretty childish acting a lot of the time, which annoys me, but that is almost standard for CDrama's. A Li is hilarious, and the side characters aren't fully developed yet, but still interesting .

I just can't watch dramas where someone is already dead or dying.. it's just too sad for me personally... as entertainment.

There are many actors that aren't that attractive but hold our attention because they are great at their craft. However, I have been watching Asian dramas for around 6 years now and I am astounded by how often the comments are about how one of the leads is not pretty enough and shouldn't have the role. So, the studios are going to go where the audience and money is .. :/

disagree, I think it will be a happy ending. There is too much lightweight humor mixed in, and her attitude is sweet and comical. Plus, they are setting it up where he will feel discouraged with his government/military( imo only. )

Well, I fell in love with Type, so I do think it's possible:) His prickly personality became cuter when you care for him. And while he did treat Tharn coldly many times, I was frustrated with Tharn many times as he continued to be involved with Tar and did not say he didn't still love him when Type asked him. Did Tharn think he could secretly get away with meeting Tar and lying to Type about where he was going in their college town? Neither were perfect .. My biggest problem with the show is Llong isn't behind bars.

I think he should be turned in. He paid people to gang rape a minor..And he was just about to kill someone!! I can't feel sorry for him because he cries and doesn't get the love of the man he obsessed over. He may need mental health treatment, I agree, but I would love the courts to decide because he is dangerous.

I disliked this so much. It was slow, depressing... and there wasn't anyone that I liked . By the time the end came I just wanted put out of my misery.

Yes, it is def. the norm and clearly a cultural thing. Not only the childish voice, but the petulant childish behaviors.. It's something I have trouble with but if the drama is good I try and overlook it.
