I agree, I think he's alive. Because she's alive and they are happy and interacting. It would have been great if they would have spent 30 seconds at least showing how he is alive, but I guess they want you to talk about it. :/

I really didn't like this film. I watched it after The Breakup Playlist because of Sarah Geronimo, but she overacted through the whole thing and wore a hideous wig throughout.. Her boyfriend cheats on her and she leaves for New York... when she comes back a couple of years later he's still with the woman he cheated with.. Argh... sorry, that's not a romance to me.

I think that is too low of a rating. I just watched this.. I thought I would skim it a little from watching the trailer, but I was completely hooked. It was done very well, the chemistry is good, the music is good and I liked both of the main leads.

Have you seen Love Destiny? It's a longer, historical drama. I watched it recently and really enjoyed it. Btw, I don' t like too much angst or sad endings. The MC have great chemistry.

yes, and that was good, but I never really understood why he thought that would bring out the bad guy... it was a weird plot device I think.

This looks like a fun , like a different take off of Sungkyunkwan Scandal.. I hope it has a happy ending like SS did.. seems possible with this synopsis, but I never trust Chinese historical romances for happy endings. :)

I don't feel Janice Wu has the acting chops , she's cute and sweet, but not deep imo...not on the same level as Kim Go-eun at all. Just my opinion. Perhaps Dongyu Zhou for the role?

I read somewhere that the chinese dramas are hard subbed because of different..languages? But Hanzi, the chinese characters are known nationally? I may have that wrong..

Softcore? What drama are you watching? It couldn't be further from that. Or do *you* live in a bubble where a man and a woman don't hold hands?

I think that is a low rating for this drama.. I am on episode 8 and it has been sweet and funny and had some nice unique moments. I have to say that Bruce Hung is knocking it out of the park. He is so attractive and funny at the same time. He has mad skills to be drop dead gorgeous and commanding with dimples or goofy with great body comedy and a glint in his eye. He is making it for me honestly, altho I do like every character . The second male lead is awesome and I like him in everything he does. I hope he gets the girl sometime, just not this time:)
