Very easy to watch, very predictable and really unnecessary 1 year time gap. FL looks and dresses same as Your Honor again ;D Not sure which one was shot earlier.

Rated it 6.5/10

So romance were not really good in this? I watched 8episode of it and kinda lost mood. it was frustating to see…
They had good chemistry but as you said, it's a story of 2 individuals who have completely different goals and views on life. They don't have any kind of meaningful conversation throughout the entirety of the drama apart from the cliche reunion talk in last 5 mins of the drama.

Title Will Love in Spring Spoiler
First 30% of the drama feels like watching Meet Yourself again. This is not just because of the ML but there are many similarities between both the dramas. Middle 40% was just toxic relationship shown as romance. Then 15% which was the good portion of the drama. Next 10% of absolute shit and last 5% of the usual romance drama ending.

Romance between the leads is just a toxic relationship. ML may not be perfect but he deserves better. Both of them are wishy washy and this relationship wouldn't last few months if this was real life. But it is super weird for a person to ask removing prosthetic leg like removing clothes, out of nowhere.

Hearing things like this 'I like you but I like Shanghai more' every time you meet while not even in a proper relationship would feel like punch to the gut. Though this is not great, atleast ML is aware of what FL thinks and any choice he makes whether to pursue the relationship or not is his to make. I would also not judge FL for stating things clearly.

Then, FL does not want to breakup nor want to go into a long distance relationship, she decides to get engaged. She does not reveal that she is leaving for Shanghai few days later. This is trapping a person in long term relationship without revealing facts and giving the other person a chance to make choice. A chance which a partner deserves in honest relationship. This is toxicity and manipulation. And having a life changing discussion in a railway station when you are about to leave and telling your partner that you will be away for 2 years shows clearly the power balance of the relationship. If this was real life, the relationship would have ended in railway station.

The issue here is not about career woman who wants to live the life her way. This is about having honest conversation in a relationship and showing basic respect to your partner. This is about disclosing your life plan and future so that your partner has the choice.

I am rating this 4.5/10. This drama had so much potential but....

I am reverse case. I don't watch Saeguks but I ended up watching My Dearest. It landed me to this drama.
It has fighting and bloody scenes but there is not much of it or it is not that gruesome.

I went into the drama expecting some kind of apartment politics drama (Like Happiness drama but without zombies). But this was totally unexpected and turned out to be quite awesome.

I was bored in the first episode but got hooked from second episode. Till 12th episode, I felt bad both for kids and the parents because neither of them was right nor wrong. But at some point, I stopped sympathizing with certain characters and started seeing them as unredeemable. Felt really bad for Hye Na's character. The actress surely felt like she is playing her role in Like Flowers In Sand (I know it came later).

I would have rated it 10/10 but I did not like few things about the last 2 episodes. While I understand the intent, giving excuses or redemption arc to characters like Seo Jin, Kim Joo Young, etc, felt misplaced and did not seem true to the essence of rest of the drama. Redemption arc of Ye Seo made sense. Ye Bin should have been the plot device of exposing the details of the murder rather than out of the blue reversal of Seo Jin's character. Woo Joo becoming Dora the explorer also made sense. All evil does not need backstories nor need redemption arc. Somethings can be just left as evil is my personal opinion.

Totally would recommend watching it if you are bored out of usual Romcoms, childhood trauma, time travel, first love returns, chaebol and the other usual KDrama stuff.

Rating it 9.5/10.

After reading some mostly moderate or negative reviews I initially did not plan to watch this drama, but I saw…
There are 2 Kdrama troupes that I wish the industry could bid goodbye

- Non sensical breakup, time skip and reunion because writers do not know how to end a story.
- Absolutely useless childhood connection between leads when the drama did not even have anything to do with their childhood.

The drama kind of ends as expected. It was fun to watch and I found only episode-11 kind of boring. My personal opinion is that I won't remember anything from this except the proposal scene.

Nevertheless, it was enjoyable and I rated this 9/10.

The question that I had was, how does the life work for the leads once they are back to present? They don't have memories of the new present and their new present has changed significantly.

wdym FL had nothing to do?? she was determined to save her mother without her who would?
It's been more than a month and I do not remember much of the plot. I can't recall even one scene of the FL.

I respect your opinion but I wrote the main comment few minutes after finishing the drama, on how I felt about it.

The drama was nothing like I could have predicted. At first, I was confused if it was parody. Then it seemed like a romcom but it tackled some pretty serious things about marriage. It was weird but a good kind of weird show.

I don't think I would have expected a drama to show excel sheet as the first scene but turned out to be something else entirely in the end.

just watched the special, which btw I don't understand why this page says the show has 11 episodes, s1 is 10,…
S1 is indeed 11 episodes, not including special episode. Special episode is listed as season2 on Netflix.

The drama definitely had its moments. First half of the drama was slow but also was good. The second half started dragging and is very noticeable when they introduced the MLs wife back that late in the drama to add filler episodes. The repeated nature of ML and 2ML having to save the FL became tiring after a point. Finale felt forced and I don't think anyone would have been interested in royal coup at that point. The drama also had one of the worst choices of background music that I have seen in Kdrama.

But all in all, this definitely is watchable and enjoyable for about 70% of the drama. I rated it 7/10

Pleasantly surprised to see Bubblegum on the list as it is seldom talked, neither had good rating. Only place I see it recommended on /r/kdramarecommends sometimes. It is a fun watch even with some clique troupes and I like the title OST song too.

Title Go Ahead Spoiler
This is a one-of-a-kind drama. It does do justice to the found family troupe.

First 1-18 episodes of the drama was really top notch. It makes so much sense that the trio is awkward after being a decade away. This is a smart and realistic choice.

The problem part of this drama is the middle portion and how the romance angle between the trio was handled. The way both MLs conveyed romantic feelings is just sexual assault. 2ML romantic feelings was unnecessary. A better plotline would have been 2ML having issues with the romance of leads like contemplating breakup scenario and how it would affect them.

All 3 male and females are liking different people in their group. It was unnecessary complication of story in my opinion. They could have made the drama lighter and 2ML could have paired with the actress FL. It would have been a fun couple to watch and provided some chaotic fun moments in the drama. I feel it was a missed opportunity. This way 2ML friend character could have been eliminated and the screentime could have been used just with the main characters.

Drama has had some kind of competition among parents on how many years they can be away from their kids before trying to helicopter themselves in their lives. One was 10 years and the other one seems to be 18+ years. Clearly 1ML mother had mental health issues but it was dragged too long as some kind of climax. It became blood boiling portion of the drama after some time.

This is a good one-time-watch drama and I don't see much rewatch value in this. So, I don't think I will ever watch the Korean remake that we may get in future.

I rate this 8/10.

There are dramas which has fillers and there are fillers which has drama. The drama is a wasted opportunity of a good premise. I fast forwarded most of the last set of episodes just to complete it.

There were many interesting themes which they could have explored like a guy who has been single for a long time, gets into a relationship. Instead of making lead picture perfect in relationship, they could have shown growth of relationship. Like, making compromises, unlearning habits of being single, taking life decisions as a couple instead by himself, etc.

I am still not convinced at all even after the end of the drama that FL was a fan of ML for many years. There was not enough fan like behaviour to portray that. Even the side character of the super market girl portrayed the fan emotions better than the FL.

Choice of second lead couple was wasteful. First couple got boring very early in the drama and second couple was just a carbon copy of first, a famous guy and a college girl. Dou Bing should have been second lead and that couple would have been far more interesting character if they had enough screentime.

At the end of it, this was just a cooking and eating filler show with every thin layer of actual story. I would not have watched it had I knew before, the amount of time that is going to be spent eating.
