I wanted to write few lines as closing remarks but honestly, I can't remember even one scene even though I just finished watching it.

Pleasantly surprised to see Bubblegum on the list as it is seldom talked, neither had good rating. Only place I see it recommended on /r/kdramarecommends sometimes. It is a fun watch even with some clique troupes and I like the title OST song too.

This is a one-of-a-kind drama. It does do justice to the found family troupe.

First 1-18 episodes of the drama was really top notch. It makes so much sense that the trio is awkward after being a decade away. This is a smart and realistic choice.

The problem part of this drama is the middle portion and how the romance angle between the trio was handled. The way both MLs conveyed romantic feelings is just sexual assault. 2ML romantic feelings was unnecessary. A better plotline would have been 2ML having issues with the romance of leads like contemplating breakup scenario and how it would affect them.

All 3 male and females are liking different people in their group. It was unnecessary complication of story in my opinion. They could have made the drama lighter and 2ML could have paired with the actress FL. It would have been a fun couple to watch and provided some chaotic fun moments in the drama. I feel it was a missed opportunity. This way 2ML friend character could have been eliminated and the screentime could have been used just with the main characters.

Drama has had some kind of competition among parents on how many years they can be away from their kids before trying to helicopter themselves in their lives. One was 10 years and the other one seems to be 18+ years. Clearly 1ML mother had mental health issues but it was dragged too long as some kind of climax. It became blood boiling portion of the drama after some time.

This is a good one-time-watch drama and I don't see much rewatch value in this. So, I don't think I will ever watch the Korean remake that we may get in future.

There are dramas which has fillers and there are fillers which has drama. The drama is a wasted opportunity of a good premise. I fast forwarded most of the last set of episodes just to complete it.

There were many interesting themes which they could have explored like a guy who has been single for a long time, gets into a relationship. Instead of making lead picture perfect in relationship, they could have shown growth of relationship. Like, making compromises, unlearning habits of being single, taking life decisions as a couple instead by himself, etc.

I am still not convinced at all even after the end of the drama that FL was a fan of ML for many years. There was not enough fan like behaviour to portray that. Even the side character of the super market girl portrayed the fan emotions better than the FL.

Choice of second lead couple was wasteful. First couple got boring very early in the drama and second couple was just a carbon copy of first, a famous guy and a college girl. Dou Bing should have been second lead and that couple would have been far more interesting character if they had enough screentime.

At the end of it, this was just a cooking and eating filler show with every thin layer of actual story. I would not have watched it had I knew before, the amount of time that is going to be spent eating.

Recently, I am trying to fast forward and skip portion of episodes to finish dramas that I don't like. Like 35th episode of this drama, I watched only 2 mins of it. But yes, I will try out your suggestion.

Unfortunately, I do not drop drama once started and have to finish them. There is no special reason other than my inability to abandon things.

Overall, this is a 7/10 drama which starts and ends as expected.

I did want to know if these fictional companies had HR at all. People are having affairs, fist fights, etc but none seem to have involved HR ever :)

I don't have much to say about the main couple but do have few things to say about 2ML. Dude character is not without fault and maybe annoying. But he deserved better than to end up back with that lady. Imagine someone saying 'do you think I only deserve a guy like him', infantilizing him, belittling his feelings as clingy and only to get back to her in the end. Talk about a shit ending to a decent character.

Is it really healthy relationship if they don't communicate at all and have to resort to dramatic kiss for solving every little problem?

This was not a good drama from start to finish and was boring. I fast forwarded most episodes as I wanted to just complete it and move on,

Satisfying watch. Drama has good binge worthy quality as I watched 12 episodes straight in a day. The middle portion was a drag and the full on melo, which didn't suit the styling of the rest of the drama.

I like linear story telling instead of going back and forth past and present, flashback scenes, etc. We started in present for 2 episode and had 20 episodes straight in past, to explain us the story. This is a better choice than using flashback.

This would have been an 8+ drama had they cut few episodes of the college time and spent that time instead as adult storyline. The found family troupe of the second half was interesting and could have worked so much better with few more episodes. The way they introduced the conflict (revenge arc) was very sloppy. If you watch the intro song, you get the feel of Itaewon class but the revenge arc ended so underwhelmingly.

Title had nothing to do with the drama.

There is nothing much to say about this drama. This is like video game version of Playful Kiss. One of the playful theme music used in multiple episodes is straight lifted from a Tamil song. Fast forwarded last few episodes and I am glad that it is over.

This drama could have been far better if they had chosen a consistent genre. It felt neither as comedy nor melo. Romance did not work as the leads felt more like neighbourhood friends rather than as partners. FL had nothing much to do in the drama.

Suspense was done well in my opinion. Background music was good but OST songs were not that great.

The question I had at the end was, once you are back from past to present and the present has changed, would you have new memories of the past or have old past memories or conflicting past memories?

All in all, not that great drama. Rating this 6.5/10.

The ending is after a year. There was an anime version 1 episode that explained what happened during that year. I watch it like 15 years back. I am hoping these are the right links.

This is my first Jdrama. So I don't know what to expect. This breakup felt misplaced.

I avoid saeguks due to their endings and I would not have watched this drama if not for the clip on Twitter where ML runs to save the FL. Parts of this drama definitely reminded me of 'Emperor of the Sea' for some reason.

The drama could have ended with the 10th episode and I would not have complained about. Last episode was usual Kdrama stuff where they throw kitchen sink, while not knowing how to end the story.

I liked part-1 more than part-2. Rated the part-1 9.5/10.

While I understand your explanation, it did not feel right. The breakup for his friend part did not work for me. It just felt random when I watched it. Maybe some more scenes showing his friendship with the ML, could have been more convincing, for the decision to make sense.

But that's just my personal feelings.
