There is lot of flashback to childhood throughout the drama.
Decent one-time watch. Rated it 7/10.
Episodes are also under 60 mins, which makes them binge worthy. Only issue with this drama is the non existent OST.
On the second leads - It is better to leave the audience asking for more scenes of the second lead than actually giving them more space than needed. They are second lead for a reason. If people end up liking second leads more than the main, then there are major problems with a drama.
Rated it 8/10.
One question that did come up in my mind while and after watching this. Did FL punish the culprits that wronged her in another life or she created the culprits in second life to punish them? I felt it was the later on some level. Still an enjoyable drama nevertheless.
Rated it 7/10. You can watch it once. I don't think it has any rewatch value.
It was a good choice to make the rich FL a normal human vs a rich jerk CEO. Story ends perfectly, leaving each relationship where should be to. Credits to the drama for being able to successfully avoid the cliche of making the CEO as jerk, avoiding breakup+time skip, avoiding making side couples more interesting than main one, avoiding pairing ML brother with ML friend,
People keep giving examples of Romance is romancing. The first 8 episodes of this show was prime example of this. This should be credited. They also had the most natural progression of relationship given the premise of the story.
OST could have been better. I rated this 9/10.
Happy ending at the end of season-2.
I did not know that the main plot was basically cheating and bunch of supporting characters glamourising it as profound love. People can breakup or fall out of love for any reason. The way the relationship progressed is cheating. There is no denying this if you watched first 6-7 episodes. FL takes a supposed break, went behind the guy's back and waited till her feelings are strong enough and rug pulled the guy. The second half of the drama with the guy being portrayed as some sort of big evil is just a cop out to make the audience feel sympathetic towards FL and overlook her actions.
The drama just became a comedy than melo and I just laughed at whatever scenarios were created in the second half, particularly with the FLs ex-boyfriend.
I can't believe this drama is rated 8.3 on MDL. Drama watchers seem to be more accommodating in general if trash behaviour is from main leads. Maybe a contributing factor is a large percentage of drama watchers are fans of actors playing leads.
I rated it 4/10.
This is a true slice of life. There is no plot. There are no serial killers, murder subplot, no side couples, no antagonist or jilted ex-lovers. First episode is a dagger to heart to set the stage. Next 5 episodes are the painfully boring. But if you get past 6 episodes, you will start enjoying this drama.
I rated it 7/10.
Season-2 was not required and felt unnecessary. Story should have ended with Season1.
I rated this 9.5/10
This is a satisfying 12 episodes watch. This may not have a great standalone OST drama, but definitely the background music is on point and worth mentioning.
I rated it 9/10.
Would it have been a better story if they actually made the series about the subplot of 4 friends who went to Seoul to live their dreams?
Rated it 7/10 at the end.
I enjoyed this one and rated it 9/10
Most characters feel fake and forced. Just showing same trees did not make this a healing drama. Maybe this drama was suffering from Covid while being made.
Overall, I rated it 5/10
Second half of the drama totally undo's all the goodwill earned in the first half. This drama is unnecessarily long and has the most incompetent and cartoonish police I have ever seen. Seems like the drama makers ran out of material to fill 16 episodes and started using old scenes as flashback repeatedly. They could have spent some episodes covering other victim families, if they did not have material for episodes. The climax appears lifted straight from 'I hear your voice'.
This is potential wasted kind of drama. I rated it 7/10
Rated the drama 9/10.
Rated it 5/10
I understand why people complain about drama becoming slow in the middle. But I guess the makers tried to give background story for each character even the ones which don't have enough screentime. There are some things which did not really make sense like the return of the bullied girl. She had no impact or screentime after her return which makes you question whether it got cut while post-production or writers took a different path while making the drama.
I do have a lingering thought. Would the story have been even better if the order of episodes was done differently? Would it have been better for the parent's story to be shown first rather than as backstory? I guess the makers did the reverse to grab the eyeballs of the viewers. The hype of the younger couple did make the drama mainstream.
Overall, I rated it 9/10.
