La Ik was passed out in his room when Seung Woo was killed. We saw Seung Woo dump his drunk ass into bed. He was killed later in the evening after La Ik returned from his "beer run". I think you've got the timeline confused.

If she was in a rage would she stab him only once? And if they were fighting he'd have defensive wounds on him to indicate as such. The house looked as if it had been searched but not ransacked. This doesn't really come off as a sudden crime of passion.

OP is talking about the physicality needed to stab him. Does Hye Joo even have the strength or skill to stab a man in the chest only once and deliver a killing blow with no defensive wounds on the victim at all.

I think if she's involved she hired someone.

She wasn't talking to La Ik when the murder took place because that would also rule La Ik out as a suspect.

I'm leaning way more towards Hye Joo's dad right now, I just haven't decided if she's involved or not. There's still some loose threads about her that the story hasn't tied up yet.

But do we know for certain that alibi has actually been verified by anyone? I question the how throughout this investigation has been up to this point.

I think the earring being Hye Joo's is a safe bet. But that only tells us she was in his apartment.

The question at this point is are they starting to give us legit clues to the killer or is this another fake out.

I really like the theory that her Dad orchestrated the killing but Yeong Bin is still looking like a plausible suspect - I'm just not sure what his motive could be at this point.

I'm down to three: Yeong Bin, Hye Joo and/or her Dad.

Yeong Bin was my first suspect so I might actually be disappointed if it is him.

I feel this is mistagged as a thriller, mystery would probably be more apt.

Assuming they go to jail at all or even if they did assuming they get a long enough sentence to not retaliate worse when they get out. Or that their incarceration doesn't incite more violence from other delulu fans because he "turned on" them.

This is such a pet peeve of mine honestly. People always seem to use it on character development heavy episodes or dramas. I've seen entire slice of life dramas called filler. Filler episodes are like what if we took a break from the plot and put our characters on the beach or here's a clip show. And that definition could work here, I suppose, if you thought the murder mystery was the only plot

He did give smarmy too good to be true scam vibes but idk what the scam could have been.
