I just finished the drama. It’s a gem. Why is the rating so low? I gave it a 10! Although this drama does not have those popular actors, but the story plot is good and cast performance are excellent. This drama encompasses all emotions, especially the comedy is really funny. And the ending is good and cute👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.. Got to go find the ML his other drama..

Finally, finished all episodes. I can’t really say it’s bad or it’s good. Something is just lacking from this drama. Some cases are good but the way it was presented is kind of boring. That is, once case is solved, they narrate the whole case on how it was solved…a lot of dialogues. Which make it worst as the dubbing for Bai Lu is really bad (I hear it’s her own voice). Her dialogue sounds lazy and monotonous in normal speech. When she is angry, feels like she is shouting. Though she looks pretty here..but somehow does not feel like she is in the character. Her last drama that I really like is Till the end of the moon. After that, her other historical dramas.. I mostly dropped halfway. I really hope her next drama, Mo Li is worth waiting and maybe she should not dubbed her own voice. 🙏

Initially, I wanted to check out the comments before starting and realized some people gave bad comments and I wonder why..so I check out who is the director. It is directed by the same the director from The Double (it is a good drama). So, I started and finish up the 5 episodes in one go. That says it is a pretty good drama. In fact, compared to some current historical dramas, this drama did not make me want to pause and go to sleep. So, for those wondering whether to watch, ignore the comments and watch it itself and judge. Lastly, both the ML & FL are doing well in their roles too.

This is really a great drama. The crying scenes (especially Hu Xiu) is really heartbreaking, you can feel the pain. Then you see her in those sweet romantic scenes…it’s sweetness overload. LYX is really good, so natural in portraying Hu Xiu’s character. And of course the chemistry between LYX & CXX…so natural and you would actually thought they are real couple. This is how good they are👏👏.. Now let’s wait for the next LYX new romance drama with Ling Yi and see if we can this standard.

Really? Express tomorrow? That’s great. I thought there is no episode on Wed and express only drop on Thursday. Good that we don’t have to endure their heartbreak in the coming 1-2 episodes and can continue to see them lovey dovey till the end😘

But, in his case…which was mentioned in earlier episode when Hu Xiu was introduced in the company and the colleague told her that the boss prefer to be called “Yu Zhong” (the 3rd character of his name). The subtitle is wrong. My guess is he does not want the Last name as “Xiao” because he is actually “Qin”…he can’t get over it…

My guess is the blind sister dress up like the Bai and push her 6th sister into the water..because she saw her kill Yang and she probably is not blind at all… From the look of Bai, he does not look like a killer but was used by the blind sister for her alibi..

Yea… I think the FL’s brother did not return.. The ML saw the brother fiddling with his thumb.. a gesture that normally an emperor will on the thumb ring… Don’t be surprise that the real Tong Tong also did not return….

They are talking about the young man (that helps with accounts) with Yang Chu Hao. Sounds like he works for Feng San….so Yang could be in danger. But, the look from Xie Huai A seems to tell that he is aware….and could have prevented any mishaps to Yang. Let’s hope he is fine…but there is a possibility he might be killed by that young man….

Another good episode👏🏻👏🏻. The storyline, pacing till now is excellent.. Some K-drama will tumble half way through… but this drama is just so good till now👏🏻👏🏻

Well, still a consolation that Cheng Yi’s drama gets better..from the bad editing of The Journey of Legend to this current drama with lack of screen time with LYT. Fingers crossed for The Vendetta of An ( heard it’s coming in Dec). Hope it will be as good as Mysterious Casebook😅

Oh really, that is injustice to the drama…and hear from somewhere that there is epic love story…I guess it get lost somewhere😅

Missing part is having more screen time for Cheng Yi and Li Yi Ting together (and to show more of their romance).. Currently till now…hardly can feel it..

Agree. The romance story for the other 2 couples are way better. How could the writer did so badly for the main couple romance storyline? At the current episode (ep 30), they look so boring together, no excitement with their reunion. I think the writer probably want to show both of them being telepathic…but it was not done well in that sense..
