I really like Bai Lu Xian Xia drama..I am on till episode 14 but this drama feels like a drag. The pairing of the MLs not really outstanding..no couple feel. The editing and storyline are not engaging at all. I probably have to give up. Still missed Bai Lu in Till the end of the moon..that’s the best and I rewatch few times already. Nothing beats that drama.

Well..kind of difficult to explain the meaning as per single word. Chinese words usually have 2 to 3 or more characters in order to have a meaning. The 蛮 (in The Prisoner of Beauty) usually pair with characters that give the meaning of “pretty good (蛮好) or pretty bad (蛮坏)”. And 蔓 (in Destiny of Love) usually pair with characters that gives the meaning of grow, extend or spread. Not sure you get what I mean😅. .. Chinese characters are vast..you can pair with so many characters to give different meanings. .
It’s been a long while waiting for Lee Jae Wook’s drama. He is really good here. His previous drama..Impossible Heir…so excited but could not even finish episode 1 (not because of him)… Hoping to see his drama soon.
It’s too good to skip. Lee Jae Wook fighting scenes and the chemistry between the leads are really good…you feel for them.. though sad ending..it’s done in a beautiful way… should not miss it..
So far…Really enjoyed the drama👏..most of the characters are well played…except for the cousin (Wei Yan)…first time seeing him here.. I think he is trying to be flamboyant…but I don’t see that in him here….but rather acting like what a eunuch role act (just my opinion). For people that may know him, he probably may suit other roles….but not this…
S1 was so much better… am I the only one who didn’t think much about most of the fight scenes OR the characters?……
Totally agree S1 is better..and because of that, some actors there are getting popular and more roles. This season only just fight and background story is weak. And the way Ryeo Un handles the role just feel so similar to Choi hyun wook’s acting…😅.. I don’t really hope to have S3 unless they can run a better story besides fighting….
This drama is weird..they need to decide the genre between romance and action. If it’s a police drama, action and cases have to take priority. Although some cases are good but it got drag down by too many couples romance (and too fast, like the youngest couple…it’s unnecessary). I still could not understand the dress code of the policewoman…they are always in shorts…they are showing too much skin and they are police. For me, I have never seen a drama with such dress code for police. And the crying scenes of Tiffany…I feel no emotion even she shed tears..I just want to fast forward. To be fair, the crime stories are good but the background/character stories are actually quite bad. I am here for this drama mainly for the veteran actors like Joel Chan & Moon Lau…
It’s a perfect drama….if only we could somehow see the main couple together happily ever after. If they could re-write life…they could have make the couples together by some means…that’s the sad part.. But, still it is an excellent drama without a boring episode…hard to come across in today’s cdrama. 👏👏
