Saw some comments down that mentioned Qing Er is the man in white. I am trying to find some clues from the man in white looking at his ear lobe or any moles…. If you look carefully, his (man in white) ear lobe got a mole…so I went back some episodes to check on Qing Er…it’s seems the ear lobe is similar and looks like a mole too. Just my observation😅
Oh no… just finished Ep 1 and JCW died at the end of Ep 1😱… I came to this drama for him.. I thought will see him at least in the first 4 episodes…hope can still see him in flashback….

Right, just before that statement on title from the Empress. Ziyu is the one that says grant her the title because he start the statement with “Gu” (only emperor refer themself as that). He suggest title name as Huaishan… in Chinese means remembering Yang Shan (where they first met)😅

If I did not hear wrongly, it’s the Emperor that gave LMT the title of County Princess. Not sure if he is eyeing her again by giving her the title. But, the storyline looks like he & the Empress will work together in the palace to ride the evil ones and eventually CXZ & LMT will work together outside to help the emperor… And to annul the decree of marriage, I read from somewhere that he break his legs to avoid😂.. it’s just so him..
The best part of Ep 27…. 1. Though pity the poor “goose” but it’s so funny & hilarious…had a good laugh. 2. CXZ pouting and sulking & walking around while his servants so worried to mention the word ‘嫁’ (means married)….😂😂
Just finished the drama. I must say this is way much more nicer than Dashing Youth. The story plotline, fighting scenes, etc are all so good. In Dashing Youth, I guess there are more pretty faces..that’s all😅

Well... It depends on who you think who "Lu Wen" is. XD
I read from somewhere that Liu Mian Tang is Lu Wen. That ‘s why you can see how witty she is😄.. and she should be the one that shot the arrow at Cui Xing Zhou. They are basically in love- hate relationships. I think in the last couple of episodes, Cui Xing Zhou also say something like he kind of like Lu Wen because he enjoyed pitting skills with Lu Wen (not knowing Lu Wen is actually a woman).
10 episodes are out and they released 2 episode every day….
When it is a good drama, I can’t wait to follow up everyday. It will be too long to wait for the drama to complete. So far happy to watch 2 episodes a day…at least there is no break between days😅
Finished this drama and started The Blood of Youth. For now, at episode 4, it feels like it’s better than Dashing Youth. ..will see how it goes And the ML (Xiao Se) looks really really like Cheng Yi😅
She definitely did not handle the situation the best but I do sympathize with her because she was a mother to…
They can totally remove the romance part (even the 1st) couple), friendships are good enough.. I also don’t like the 2nd couple. I don’t understand how they like each other when they are practically just kids back then and got separated. Just weird. Then I thought when she is already a mother of 2, why would she still leave the palace to go for YDZ. Usually, kids are precious to mother unless she hate the children because of the their father…..but then she suddenly guilty and need to go back and see her son……no logic to her character.
Just finished the drama. YDZ is a pitiful character. His life is definitely brighter if he did not fall for YWJ. Indirectly she is the cause of his death. I like what Bali Dongjun say to YWJ that he will not forgive her for leaving that causes all these to happen.
For Hong Kong drama, I usually only go for criminal or law genre. Has been a fan for Forensic Hero’s franchise but newer seasons are not getting any better. Season 5 is still ok with the cases. But this season (which has only 24 episodes), cases so far are not strong (actually boring). I particularly dislike the young actors discussing the cases at the coffee joint or laundromat. It just feels weird. It’s like reiterating the cases (a waste of screen time). Wouldn’t it be better to dissect cases within own department, together with their colleagues? With good veteran actors like Bosco & Benjamin Yuen, I think it’s wasted talent here. I am into episode 5 and find that cases are weak and it put too much time in the emotional feelings of some characters. If need to have emotional scene here, just for the lead characters is sufficient. It’s only a 24 episode drama, not much time to dwell into the wrong genre. It’s focus is forensic and criminal…
