Wish so much time hadn't been spent on the Japan/ex-boyfriend plot. The drama is already short enough and valuable time was spent on that when it should have gone towards developing the romance. KHN was wasted in this drama imo. A shame because I felt it started off quite strong.
I’m so confused by the kid situation. Can someone please help me out? So Na Aegyo only had one kid??? Which…
-Na Ae Gyo gave birth to 1 son - Seok Hoon. She had a complicated birth and didn't give birth to twins. -For Seok Kyung, Ju Dan Tae lured her to the cottage to accuse Yoo Dong Pil of kidnapping/hurting her to then force him to do more of his dirty work. Or he could have done it to prevent Su Ryeon from finding out that she was really Seok Kyung's mother? Remember that Yoon Hee called Su Ryeon and told her to bring Seok Kyung so she could tell them the news. -As for switching Seol A and Hye In, I think it was done as a punishment to Su Ryeon because the babies weren't his; Dan Tae was complaining about how she loved her babies from the dead father so he had her raise a child that wasn't really hers. He thought that Hye In would die after birth because she was so sick.
Ngl, I seriously think season 3 should be cancelled. There's just nothing that can possibly redeem it anymore.…
The sad truth is that as long as the show's main audience within Korea that the network profits off of do not see a problem with it, nothing will change, no apology will be made, no scenes will be removed... Joseon Exorcist was vilified by the general public, so the network had to scramble to come up with a solution before it caused any financial problems for them. SBS did not care when international fans raised issue with what happened in Backstreet Rookie and I really doubt they'd do anything now. I'd love to be wrong but sadly I don't see anything being done other than maybe a half-assed apology.
Haven’t started season 3 yet but saw a screenshot of this character….ughhh WHY did they have to do this. To…
Yes, the same thing happened with the Dr. I didn't remember SSR's fiancé's killers were also Black, so this is the 3rd time the show has been racist now?
MANE I WAS SO HYPED TOO. did yall not learn from backstreet rookie? Makjang dramas are supposed to be over-the-top…
The writers ran out of ideas and decided to resort to racism as a cheap plotline, extremely disappointing. I find it even worse that the actor himself had grown up in America and likely knew how wrong the whole thing was.
I was originally keeping up with Private Lives weekly, but life got in the way so I stopped halfway through. While keeping up weekly, I noticed I was a bit confused and felt like I was missing information. Tonight, I decided to binge watch everything I missed and it made so much more sense - not disappointed at all. Since the plotlines are interwoven and small details matter, it's best to watch all the episodes in one go to fully understand what's going on. I'll hold off on watching the rest until the drama is over. It's not a slight against the drama or anything, but Private Lives is definitely a drama that you'll get the best experience binge-watching.
I know she was a side character but it's still disappointing to see they just dropped Hyunseo's storyline. Not…
Yeah, I was quite sad that nothing more came of Hyun Seo. They just dropped her and continued on, though I'm not really sure how they would have woven her in there. I also wish we'd gotten to know more on Dr. Yoon Gi. He remained a mysterious character until the end.
