I don't care if they do, I just hope they put it behind a cut or create a discussion or something. So that people who don't want to know don't have to.
Literally all I want to know is if Sand ends up happy. I don't care about anything else (but I think that was probably obvious I am an unrepentant Sand lover).
Okay for funsies as we head into the last three eps I want to make some predictions.
The friend group will reconnect. Yes, even Boston. MewTop definite endgame NickBoston open ended SandRay will be split and probably unable to salvage a friendship, unfortunately - I think their big trailer fight will be either late ep 11 late or early ep 12. The lesbians of course will be together because they're the only couple that actually works shit out.
Boston will be going to the US (that's why he and Nick are open ended, they plan to see what happens - I have a feeling that he's gonna get into some sort of trouble in the coming eps that makes the US a certainty), Mew and Top run the hostel together while Ray gets himself better (this is more a hope than a certainty). We get to see Sand at at least one rock festival. :D
We'll see how well these age but I'm going to try not to make any more endgame predictions for the next three weeks.
What Ray did is more awful than Top but why people forgive him so easily but never forgive Top? Don't tell me…
I'm simple. Ray called Sand a whore twice and never apologized. I might be having fun with them now but that doesn't mean I won't be relieved when they fight again and it's over. *shrug* Ray's never gonna appreciate that man or treat him particularly well, but shippers gonna ship.
I just need them to break up soon enough that Sand doesn't spend the end of the show miserable. But this show never gives me what I want.
I never hated Top, so I was as surprised as Jojo. In fact, he's my favorite character. And Ray is my least favorite,…
Yep. It just never stops with Ray. I don't mind him as much anymore but like, he always finds ways to get under the damn bar and that thing is already in hell. It's kind of fascinating.
I think the comments complaining about editions are so funny because I am from Brazil, where we have long soap…
They do it here too (US). But the thing is, they're not even shooting anything new. They can't, because it's not a long running show where they have the set and the actors available to do it. The ending is the ending regardless!
Wow, this comment section blows now. Sorry guys but you are blowing this out of proportion. Number one, he did…
Would like to add that I am guilty of this - I am not excusing myself. I am up and down this comment section hating Ray and refusing to see anything decent about him for weeks. I had to pull my words back a little later on (I mean he still sucks lol but I get him better now, I think). But I do try to go where I'm being led rather than fight it every step of the way. You can not like characters without willfully ignoring what the show is trying to say.
I get wanting an ending you want. I also get feeling a little betrayed by the idea that editing happens (although admittedly I get the weird belief that they're actively CHANGING the show not at all - they're not. It's not like they're pulling actors in for reshoots to "fix" anything, they're literally just moving stuff around and/or cutting stuff to make a more coherent story. They're trying to work *with* the audience to make sure they get it. Personally I wouldn't because I'm kind of an asshole and if you don't get it I'd just assume you won't get it, but also I'm not trying to have a hit show that leads to other hit shows, so it's a lot easier for me to put up a figurative middle finger). But again, the reaction really seems disproportionate to the nonexistent crime.
Absolutely, the wave of comments here is quite the spectacle. Now, onto the discussion at hand regarding the alterations…
LOL nah. It's not much different than changing an ending of a movie after test screening. Only the test screen is unfortunately live.
Look. What Jojo said is that they edit real time, and sometimes change things around based on reaction to hopefully make it more understandable. He used the OTT hate on Top as an example - said that they did not expect it.
And then they moved on. You guys are losing your minds over maybe a minute of discussion. Literally any other show just about and people would not be this het up, but everyone has lost their damn minds over this drama. Myself included, since here I am doing this instead of literally anything else that WON'T give me a headache.
Like people weren't already gearing up to blame GMMTV anyway if certain endgames happened. Please.

I mean I don't like that they feel they have to spoon feed this stuff to people who can't get past their issues, yes. But I'm really fucking annoyed by the "pandering to shippers" comments.
They aren't. They're "pandering" as you call it, to people who refuse to see what's right in front of them in favor of hating on a character.
Like I literally found the video and watched what he said. Took five minutes to do it all myself But for all the complaining about Twitter fans, some people here are acting just like them.
Sorry guys but you are blowing this out of proportion.
Number one, he did not say he changed anything to appease shippers, that's your own bias showing.
Number two, what he DID say as far as I can tell was that he got the impression that *how they meant Top to come across* was not how people were reading it (shocker, since people hate Top and won't shut the fuck up about it). Which to me translates to them not changing to appease anyone, but to try to spoonfeed what they're going for to the audience even more than they already are.
You sound ridiculous. But I can see everyone already gearing up to blame this or GMMTV for whatever ending they don't like. It's exhausting.
ETA I'm sorry but the problem is that people aren't picking up what he's putting down. He's not "changing his vision due to Twitter polls", he's flat out trying to get his vision across because some people are too stuck in their own interpretation of the show or their rigid opinions of its characters to see what they're going for. They're literally trying to make people understand them. Which yeah, does blow, because it proves that anything complex is beyond basic fandom. But that's not their fault. It's fandom's.
Is anyone who disagrees with you considered a Ray minion? Because I have never been called one of those before…
Dammit I was excited for a hot second. The novelty of being called a minion of Ray after being accused of being a Ray hater for weeks would be something. 🤣🤣🤣
I knew he would do something like this I just KNEW it. And everyone will buy it because their attitudes about Boston sleeping around suck.
Man oh man oh man.
But also I can't stop laughing at "an upgraded version of me" wtf Boeing.
I know I said that I thought it'd be super late but please don't fuck my guy over show. 🙏🙏
Literally all I want to know is if Sand ends up happy. I don't care about anything else (but I think that was probably obvious I am an unrepentant Sand lover).
Let's hope for something really good.
