Unpopular opinion: It's got to be criminal for GMMTV to still be stuck on high school series. I mean 2 should…
The actors are young, and BL generally tends to stick to HS and maybe college.
I think we're pretty lucky to see a couple of attempts to move out of that a year. Personally college is as low as I can go anymore and every time we get a new adult BL I cheer, but I don't think I'm in the majority.
guys this is off topic but whats your favorite trailer of 2024 GMMTV line up part 1? 😆
I liked My Golden Blood and We Are. Will probably watch On Sale (or is it Haunted House On Sale?) even though it's probably not a BL. Wandee Godday has been privated but everyone seems to be into it. I haven't seen the trailer for the GL yet but it doesn't matter, I'll watch.
This line up is so weird. It feels mixed in a really odd way that I can't put my finger on.
After episode 10 I need to update my fave to least fave charactors as if now lol1. Nick and Boston are tied- oh…
For this ep it's: 1. Boston 2. Sand 3. Ray 4. Mew 5. Top 6. Dan 7. Boeing - I like him, he's hot and I love mess, but if he fucks with Sand he's dead to me. Also I dislike that he seems to have zero purpose beyond literal 11th hour drama. 8. Nick 9. Cheum 10. Atom
Overall it's: 1. Sand - duh 2. Boston - I am really impressed with Neo, and with the very subtle way Boston is changing as we go on. Not the sex thing, that has nothing to do with it. But he seems more contemplative, less prone to breaking things just because. He's been going on a journey pretty much since what happened with Top was discovered, and it's in small, sometimes very reluctant steps. I love it. 3. Mew - I always liked him and I like him even more now that he's started being more human and less above it all. I like how conflicted he is about Top and I like that he didn't just forgive and forget. I like that he's forthright for the most part - I missed that when he was deep in his revenge era. I don't know I just enjoy him a lot and like watching him. 4. Top - liked him for a while. I like that he's being steady in his determination to make things right with Mew and hasn't just given up because Mew is being difficult. Mew *should* be difficult and I think Top understands that. I'm rooting for him. 5. Ray - sorry but I still don't trust him not to immediately go back on his sorries yet again. I have a real issue with him in that he never truly seems to learn from his mistakes, he apologizes but then turns around and either acts the same or worse right after. While i really liked the last scene from ep 10 and I was not mad about his rant at Sand either, I still can't quite make myself believe it means anything. And I fully admit my bias here and admit that it always seems to be Sand he's fucking with makes me dislike him more. I want to root for him but I also don't trust him to actually do right by Sand at all, and thus I just kind of lowkey want him to get better but leave my guy out of it. 6. Nick - I like him, but to be honest he clicks for me the least of all the dudes. Mark is doing an amazing job but I can neither get behind him as a soft sad blorbo nor a stalky villain. He's just pathetically in love and has a horrible lack of understanding of boundaries. None of it really resonates with me. 7. Cheum - she really suffers from lack of screentime
I didn't add April or the three new dudes in the overall because they haven't really been around enough for me to do it.
Okay after some thinking, if Ray does not say some portion of that speech to Sand's actual face I'm going to find a way to slap him over the head. Like I love getting insight into Ray's head and knowing he cares, but you know who still doesn't? *Sand*. Yeah, the guy he keeps shitting on nonstop.
Come on Ray I want to believe in you in spite of myself.
He's keeping his options open. He's going to burn the bridge with top. So he doesn't want to lose at both ends.…
Oh I'm half counting on it. And Boeing is going to agree and I am SO curious to see how Ray reacts to *that* one, because I've never once bought he actually wanted any of his proposed threesomes.
I am a softie for all of them. I remember being so freaking mad at Ray and Boston just until previous episode…
Seriously though, that's how I feel about Ray and to some extent Top (although I never disliked Top as much as some and never as much as I disliked Ray lol). I do love when a show can turn me around on characters I dislike, though. It's my favorite thing.
>>Pro version: take two drinks when Ray says, "I'm sorry."
Lol if this is about me, I said that for something entirely different and I stand by it.
It's not the ridiculous character hate. Trust me. Hi, remember me dragging Ray every week? Like I have stones to throw. I just had a problem with people blaming shippers for all the things they don't like. Not only was that not the case, it made everyone sound like a bunch of children.
About Mew and Top, I get it. For some people cheating or anything that approaches cheating is a hard limit. I get that, and in real life I'd probably be the same. But in fiction it depends for me, and they've won me personally over with Top. That's not the case for a lot of people. :D It's all good. If it's not about what happened with Boston I'd be curious to know what it is, since most roads lead back to that for most people (which again, is fine. It's a TV show. Having opinions is fine. Disagreeing with people about their opinions is fine. Attacking them is not and frankly makes the people involved look ridiculous).

HA I am firmly in the TopMew endgame camp. I actually really liked Mew's pettiness this ep because it feels more realistic than him just forgiving and forgetting. But I seem to be in the minority there.
I just...even if Ray and Sand don't work out (which again, I expect will be the case), I am tired of the love triangle shit. The stuff with Mew killed it so dead for me that I really just can't anymore. So even though I like Boeing messing things up I'm just also over SandRayX love triangles. *shrugs* What can you do?
>>Pro version: take two drinks when Ray says, "I'm sorry."
Yeah unfortunately I do not think Sand and Ray are endgame so I figure he's gonna fuck up.
It would be lovely if they could shift do Ray and Sand navigating through Ray's struggles with addiction instead of romantic drama but I do not foresee that happening.
>>Pro version: take two drinks when Ray says, "I'm sorry."
I think he means it in the moment but yeah, I need to see him actually try.
Although to be fair to him, I can think of at least one instance where he said he wouldn't do a thing and then he didn't. When Sand told him to stop throwing money at him he did indeed stop.
But I badly need him to start actively showing he's sorry by making more effort. We're past time for that.

/Sand protector coming out lol.
Happy to be proven wrong though. :D
