Ha yes, that's my guess too. Just when Top and Mew get back on track and if and when Sand and Ray start to seem good again, is my guess. Although possibly Sand and Ray will be splitsies by then.

Generally I think he probably is one of the more decent ones, or at least one of the ones who can better curb his more destructive impulses. But even patient, decent people can be pushed too far, and when they are, watch out.

The smile is definitely creepy and I love him for it, but I don't think so.

I don't really think that anybody expect maybe Boston (arguably, I still like him but) has been put in a wholly bad light. We see good points from all these people - Ray might be an alcoholic loser prone to lashing out and using folks, but he genuinely seems to care for Mew at least, Top is an asshole who slept with Boston while in a nebulous relationship with Mew, but he's also been sweet and considerate, Nick is getting the soft boy edit in spite of the way that he bugged his FWB's car and tried to blackmail Top with it/played it to his roommate like it was show and tell time. And Sand up until this episode was mostly shown decently - sure he sells illegal hooch but nothing was made of it other than he needs money. In fact he was getting such a good edit that people here were claiming he was the only green flag of the show! And as for the lesbians, well, we barely see them at all, they're practically non entities and that is just a travesty.

And honestly even Boston has his moments where he's not being a complete jerk.

It might be a skewed narrative - in fact I would say it is - but I'm not sure it's entirely Mew's narrative either. I think all these people will look differently based on who the POV character is supposed to be.

Well all these people are generally very stupid so I wouldn't put it past them lol.

And yes I too think that Sand and Mew hooking up would hit Top where it hurts the most. Both of them would have the best revenge that way really. Plus I'd like it much better. :D

Ooh did he? I know that at some point he was clearly trying to trick First into spoiling who else he's kissing but it wound up not working out for him, lol. Honestly I'm surprised First hasn't spoiled something already - he is not good at keeping his mouth shut.

This is unpopular, but I think Sand might actually be worse for Ray than Mew, mostly because Sand obviously has a caretaking thing and that will foster a codependent relationship that can only end badly when Sand either stops caring for Ray the way Ray wants or he starts asserting his own needs instead of focusing solely on Ray's (for example, when Ray inevitably ditches him for Mew for the 500th time or doesn't slow up on the drinking).

I'm counting on it. I want Mew and Sand to both be the most unhinged.

Oh yeah I had fun during that bar scene (I was a little wtf at calling Sand a whore twice though because up til then it had just been spitting facts (and half assed love confessions for Mew), but then with Sand it was just straight up mean and not even true. Like jesus dude) and if I don't blame Boston for his BS I can't really blame Ray.

Okay I don't like Ray & Mew either because not a fan of that kind of pining narrative, but Ray doesn't need a lover or a friend to fix him he needs to fix himself. And Mew would be bad for him *because* Ray has fixated on him as the only one who can "save" him, not understanding that the only person who can is Ray himself.

The way I need this ex to show up and cause mess is ridiculous. Because it's obvious that Sand has a ton of unresolved feelings for them and I just want to see him spiral I'm sorry I do love him but he's fun when he loses it.

He won't get jealous. If anything he'll just get mad that his toy is being played with by someone else, which is a whole different thing imo.

I don't think he really intended to do anything with Ray aside from point him at Top and Mew's relationship like a weapon.

I think that he figured he'd given up on Ray - it's clear that Ray wants someone else and Sand's not gonna stand around and get hurt, so he might as well use his knowledge for a little good old fashioned revenge on someone he hates (total "screw it, none of these people care about me or anyone but themselves, why should I?" energy from my man here) - but then everything went to hell in a handbasket and Sand's good old save a ho tendencies reared their ugly head. So much for not caring, eh?

Like what he did was great, it was cold blooded and calculated and it caused max mess with minimal effort, but I don't think he had any real goal but hurting Top. He wasn't trying to mastermind Ray turning to him because I don't think he thinks Ray is capable of it. That'll probably change in the next ep or two until he's hit with cold reality again.

Yeah real talk, I don't like Ray in general but I'm *really* pissed at him for getting behind the wheel drunk. I don't give two shits about blowing up the friend group and while I give slightly more shits about hurting Sand because he's my fave Sand also walks into it and you can only protect stupid so much.

I think Mew probably punched Ray because he was interfering. But they look to all be friends again next ep (sans Boston) so I don't really know if it even matters that much.
