I think hoping for Boston to suddenly because "good" is a fool's game.

But honestly I think thinking of any of these characters as wholly "good" or "bad" is a fool's game. None of them are, they are all going to do things that we do and don't agree with, they're all going to be messes and hurt each other and break things that shouldn't be broken. This isn't going to be the same kind of BL people are used to.

I don't want to PSA about it but I do think that if people want something like Dangerous Romance (which I love don't get me wrong it's just a different kind of show) then they might do better to look elsewhere.

And I agree - occasionally it's nice to see this kind of rep onscreen, even if generally I prefer my happy endings.

Oh I hope so!! This is one of the three dramas I was looking forward to most from the 2023 lineup and I am dying for it to start.

For Sat? Sure! For the Sat following? Not a freaking chance (I have a hunch that's when things are going to go completely pear shaped and the real pain is gonna start)

I haven't! Someone mentioned a while ago that there is a camera in the room he and Boston hook up in, and I keep wondering if that will come into play later or if he really was just a one off.

I feel like if they had brought in more guest stars for Boston to hook up with it would be more possible that he wouldn't show up again...but they haven't. So now I'm just waiting to see if something happens.

To be fair The Jungle also isn't as good. It has had a its good points but it's very uneven, and so far this has been consistently good, if not great.

And GMMTV will never stop producing shows with straight couples - they might not do numbers on youtube, but I bet they do well domestically and on other streaming services.

My favorite tends to switch week by week (except for Sand who will always be my number one no matter what he does. I've imprinted). Top was higher up this week because i really enjoyed watching him tear his way through Boston and Nick, plus I liked him and Sand fighting. I am here to be entertained and he helped deliver this week. Boston was towards the top of my list last week for the same reason (even though this week he mostly made me cringe so he went back down).

Idk anything is possible. :) I have high hopes for everyone at least kissing everyone else, even if they don't end up together (I have been leaning pretty firmly towards an everyone alone ending so far, although I briefly entertained RayMew as a possibility).

Well this ep was better than the last one, although I think that Pat kinda carried the entire August/Pine storyline. I just love her.

I will be glad to see the return of Florence next week!

Also thanks to that preview I now think they're definitely gonna shove in a Hunter backstory and I am so so here for it I don't even care if it's a little rushed. Come on, drama, make it good. If I can't have my villain!Mix I want a deliciously angsty backstory for Hunter please.

No BL at all from what I can see. Entirely straight drama.

I think that I probably won't watch regardless, so frankly it doesn't matter either way to me.

I think that people will be hyped if it's the same cast, especially if this season ends with everyone split up or in a bad place. I'm just a weirdo who would shrug and move on.

You know what *would* be kind of cool. If they had a second season with a new cast.

But i don't think that they'll do that. My guess is that if there's a second season it'll be because of how the end goes - GMMTV stepping in with a "no we can't split these guys up" kind of mandate.

I feel like if it is the same cast and there is a season two, if they're out of college it'll be weird? For the cast and crew I'm sure it'd be nice though since it's guaranteed work. It's not like they care that I personally will be pouty about it and might not watch lol. It's very popular and I'm sure most people would be really into a season two.

Anyway this is all spec on my part - we'll find out in Oct I guess.

I don't want a season two but I assume I'm in the minority there. Most of the reason I watch these shows is because I don't have to put in the time for more than one season - my attention span just doesn't tend to last that long.

Although I am hoping for a Midnight Museum announcement so I guess I am also kinda lying. :D

I get that, but I'm not exactly here for healthy. The only one I really care about getting out unscathed is Sand, and he's one of the least likely to do so thanks to his proximity to Ray, who has his finger on the self-destruct button and *will* take Sand down with him.

I don't think that he's stupid and I do think he knows more than he's letting on but I hope he's not some evil mastermind. I want these guys to feel like real people, which means that they will be fallible and they will make stupid mistakes.

Then again right now I ship Sand/Mew hard (Mew called Sand lovely okay I'm easy I can't help myself) so if a supervillain arc led to that...I would have to change my mind. Supervillain!Mew Era go! 🤣

I sure wouldn't do it. I'm just gonna be sitting here shaking my head and sighing a lot, I can already tell. I'm gonna be like "Sand just love yourself more please" (yes I know that Sand isn't the character everyone has decided needs to love themself more but I said what I said lol).

Initially for me I think it was First too, but now I just love him. He's so tired and he's so so bad at setting boundaries and keeping to them, at least when it comes to Ray (and probably the ex too is my guess). We can all see his heartbreak coming I think and my biggest hope for him is that he comes out on the other side a little singed but not burnt to a crisp. But I'm scared, lol.

If they wanted me to hate him they shouldn't have made him so deliciously messy, lol. He's doing the most to bring the drama right now and I appreciate him for it.
