Not to mention, both female leads come from sweet (direct) families. Arranged marriage partnership turned to lovers trope is also the core plot of both Youthful Glory and New Life Begins.

Both Legend of the Female General and The Prisoner of Beauty features smart and independent women who are able to stand up for themselves. One, a skilled general and another, a skilled strategist. Behind those women are strong, charismatic men who know their partners can do it and will always be there whenever their partners need help.

Both also features an enemies to lovers trope, although it’s more hardcore with The Prisoner of Beauty. Both also features iconic script lines, with Legend of the Female General taking the lead with such poetic and memorable script. Visual wise, both are incredibly stunning!
