Compared to the beach scene where in HD said that it feels it could last forever, but in here, they were planning to visit every year, implying that they will be together until death do they part. And in here, they congratulated each other for being at the age 25, 21.

I really love this scene, when characters would just converse for an ample amount of time. The exchange of thoughts, the time where in we get to get into their minds as they convey these to the other character as well.

Monologues are cool but conversations have a different cool about them too.

I wish I had this kind of glow up when I was still in highschool.

this scene convinced me for the nth time again that they will try to make it work. The push and pull until the last minute was frustrating but also worked for me.
Nevertheless, this was a great scene, made me feel pain yet hopeful. Kim Tae Ri is such a great actress.

They convinced us during the (past) tunnel scene, where in they were just talking about how it won't work, but then they made us believe that they might try again when they hugged at the bus stop, but then they showed us that that did not happen and so we thought they moved on (with HD's wedding), and yet again they gave us another tunnel scene with Min Chae's mom's sentiment and mention of regret..

Because they did not gave us the endgame, I hoped that they at least showed us that their love made them live their life to the fullest rather than making them boring adults who only look at their past glory with no hint of fully moving on.

The ending concluded that they obviously love each other but they cannot make it work. A rainbow love indeed. It is not your everyday romance and appeared after a storm/rain. Beautiful yet fleeting. And to think that rainbow comes only after a rain, might imply that they need to suffer much before embracing it again. HD did not want that anymore. HD regretted, but she/they know it won't work. Maybe they tried to trust that time would heal them, but they cannot escape that image of a rainbow, thus they continue to be content to see it from a far, and in return, give their support from a far.

They started with "when we are together, we can be happy in secret" to "it takes a lot just to be together, and we are not supporting one another anymore, so let us better part ways and support from a far.. it worked before, and that is how it would only work. I love you, but I cannot be with you."
