after the reveal of the amnesia and the diagnosis, we are left with these in the plot:
* killer, who?
* marriage of the leads, when?
* Soo Hoo and Ok Hee romance reveal, how? ahhahahah

truuuue, with smug on our faces, we were like, "we knew that coming (misdiagnosis), writers." But then the writers had a trump card at the last.

I also don't remember it in the previous episode... but I think, those are just bunch of personal stuffs, like her illness and bucket list before dying.. GJ will see it, another misunderstanding will be created that will allow the romance plot to blossom, or not.

He be repeating what HD's mom did, but we really can't blame either of them. It is just such a dilemma that most of the time, a success of one is a failure to the other, and reverse.
They did brought this issue up in the past episodes and we are merely witnessing it as the plot progresses. (I am talking about the chair incident and the warnings of keeping distance)

I would also comment on your mention of food, it is because they need to have several takes of a scene so we don't get to see them finish it. Also, I saw in other behind the scenes (not Chinese), that they even spit them out in real life after taking the scene, truly a waste.
