Japanese Drama: check Ikuta Toma: check Kichise Michiko: check Family and comedy genre: check story about writer: check 7.7 MDL rating: definitely a check!
I don't know if this drama is rare, but this is definitely a gem. Rewatching it because I binged it before, so now, I want to savor more of every scene. heheheh.
I commented this 3 months ago: "The image that I had of Momose Shu while reading the manga is so much different from the drama. I viewed him as NOT the typical cool, aloof guy. But he was portrayed as exactly this one. Reading again the manga from the start, maybe it was me who had a misunderstanding, nevertheless, still grateful for this adaptation knowing that I am stuck with only 4 chapters available in english translation."
and I can conclude that this drama did portray Momose Shu differently in the manga.. specially in the in-law scene. I have read the manga three times now because of the slow updates of both drama and manga.. and yep, he was better in that 4 chapters available translations that I read than this 7 episodes... Still grateful for this :)
i used to struggle a lot financially like yeonsoo and being in relationship or even friendship made me anxious,…
A drama that you relate to, that leads you to actual flesh (beyond the screen characters), real people whom you can relate to through the drama. This is when I feel grateful most to the community that the MDL has created and other comment sections in the internet. ahahhah

Haikyuu is easily one of my top animes, but this is from Risa of lovely complex. Anime (it is hard to find good ones these days though..) and dramas are my therapy. I am guessing, the same goes for you ? :D

Life alone is hard, and love can make it harder, but at the same time, worth it. (I say this, but I don't do it because I was never a risk taker) I hope we all can heal, and move on from wherever we have been, and may we be blessed with good person/people who will be with us in this journey.
I will surely rewatch this when this is all over.
o_reo123, our Cookie buddy, hope to see you in other drama pages soon :D Why does this sound like I am saying goodbye when we are still seeing each other next week? heheheh.
While watching the 14th episode, it came to thought that dating is not really for students because it is expensive, and there is a big chance that it will result into a problematic breakup. But then I realized... I did not experience being in a relationship during my student life and now, I am struggling to have one, even though I can be financially stable.
So the lesson here is to love when love comes, but be wise and communicate (not just with your partner but with your family, friends and the people that surrounds both of you)! NOTE: Does not apply to 14 y/o (personal honest opinion is 19y/o) and below. Liking or having a crush is ok but committing to one person is not yet ok. Please take time to grow up the easy way and spare yourself from unnecessary hurts.

Now I can be more at peace with some of the questions answered.
You are the prettiest stranger indeed. I did not expect your kind soul for these. :D
