The image that I had of Momose Shu while reading the manga is so much different from the drama. I viewed him as NOT the typical cool, aloof guy. But he was portrayed as exactly this one. Reading again the manga from the start, maybe it was me who had a misunderstanding, nevertheless, still grateful for this adaptation knowing that I am stuck with only 4 chapters available in english translation.
Binged it at one go. I once dreamed to be a screenwriter since watching Reply series, and this was such a delight seeing more closely on being a process of writing. This has climbed up automatically to reasons of why I love jdoramas. I am confident that I'll have the same feeling even after a decade to rewatch this.
I thought that the spinoff will be about the drama that he wrote. ahahhah.
One thing I like for sure, was the trailer. It did not give away the whole story nor did it fall short of piquing our interest into watching it. I mean, it tells us what the D.P is but we never know what we are in for until the last few episodes. This was like the midnight runners - I thought I will get over it fast, but the issues tackled, were quite disturbing. :)
It is the second day since I completed watching this and I miss them so badly. When this was just released, I was hesitant because Hae Kang looks so arrogant in the posters (I know it was just his character, and he is so good at playing it). Hahahhaha. And even though I just started watching it last week, it was of no regret because I did not join the waiting game, since this was only released once a week.
The writing was superb, the casts were brilliant, some familiar faces and some, new. Plus the cameo from prison playbook was a bonus icing to this drama.
Jung Bo Hoon easily climbed to my list of favorite writers together with the co-writer of prison playbook ;) The baseball theme has still been a signature hehehhe,
Things that I appreciate most in this drama: This gives me anime vibes. The awareness of badminton as a great sport. And just the warmth it gave. :D
Never heard any news of this drama until the episode 1 was airing. Did I just miss the promotions/ teasers or was there really none??
Nevertheless, this proves, that sometimes, a great drama does not need to be loud. Also maybe because of the genre, they keep it to the minimum.
And if I could add, the directing techniques are not your typical, maybe again because of the genre, but I can say, I love it. The changing of camera angles are smart and subtle :D
hehehehe.
I also like this kind of set up where in the characters are not involved during their childhood.
anybody knows if Dan Ah's book in episode 8 is real and is there an English version of it? Or any similar books you can recommend?

Hope he'll star in another rom com soon :D
I have a issues with 15+ ratings because of parasite...
I like these shows, although I can only watch it once a year, and the rest are happy mirage of reality escape :P
and all I can say is that "Hoppipolla is about to take its form"
