There we have it guys, the 8th episode rule :D The awaited kiss dumps was so satisfying! let's have a restful week until a catastrophic episodes again next week :P
It is funny how the trailer made us expect of a puppy love, comedic enemy to lovers perspective, where in fact it is more of a mature, heartbreaking melo romance :D And together with the characters, we slowly die inside...
Honestly I think it's better if they don't end up together, sometimes love relationship don't work and that's…
I also can hear myself saying this in the past. What if they just stop, and just go with what is easy and comfortable.. ? but then, there won't be a drama, so that is why they show us these complicated things, hahaha. But maybe, love is just that, full of irony after irony.
Cinematography did not disappoint but I just don't like the part where in there are so much things that are kept…
These days, I prefer to be an audience that engages while watching and then after the episode, I don't want to continue to dwell in those thoughts. But this drama is making me otherwise...
Cinematography did not disappoint but I just don't like the part where in there are so much things that are kept hidden from the viewers.. and the wait for the episodes to unravel these heaps of issues is eating me away.
I was so confident that episode 3 would be where the fun starts, but nope. More flashbacks to build up the story. I love it though. I want to understand more, I want to feel their humanness, and in a way, it feels like I am watching a documentary. I want to get to know more of the characters, not just the Main Leads but also the other characters.
At this point of the series, I am just here for the joy of storytelling and the dialogues.
Still, my only WISH is for it to have no love triangle or worse, love square. Not anymore obsessively hoping for them to end up together.. We got to see, how in love they were, and also see a glimpse of the despair after. I don't know, but I just think that this drama has deeper in store for us. Be it a Summer that will remain a memory.. or a start of something that will last until death do us part..?
The fact that this drama:1. has Choi Woo Shik - his acting and expressions are just jjang. And of course, kudos…
after the positive ending of Happiness; and this drama exceeding my expectations, this made me glad to be alive. And it has been since a long time, to genuinely feel that I have things to expect for the coming days no matter what problems and discomforts in real life
The fact that this drama: 1. has Choi Woo Shik - his acting and expressions are just jjang. And of course, kudos to all the other brilliant casts. It was also refreshing to see the POV of the ML. And after the epilogue, I can't wait to see Yeon Soo's POV too. 2. has 10cm OST 3. in Netflix 4. on point directing techniques - you can just see the colors oozing and the subtle yet smart angles. 5. witty dialogues. This, my folks, is my standard.
Came for the plot and stayed for the curiosity of how the series will end.. I skipped the scenes where they sing,…
a cycle of - issue will come up - cotton candy (but mostly Jenna) will do something that is a big blow to everyone - starpeace will make an offer - cotton candy will agree or not - in which cotton candy (still, mostly Jenna) will do something opposite or absurd - and oh, the girls will cry... - another hurdle arises
but all leading to making them the center of attention that might lead them to becoming number 1 and disband (as the summary states)
Not my favorite, but made me totally come back week after week to watch the latest episode.
Came for the plot and stayed for the curiosity of how the series will end.. I skipped the scenes where they sing, dance or perform though..
The writing of the characters drew me in too. The individuality of how they react and respond to a situation, and the consistency of their personality. I don't know if there are people who will agree with me on this, but I find their actions unpredictable. Maybe the opposite to how I would react to it due to my personality and the experiences that I went through..

Also, When are we getting Drinking Solo Season 2 though? I am still waiting.
CEO Ma, the director, and BBiyong
