sharing a meal with the people who I caught talking behind me. But I am an adult who needs to pay the bills, so I might as well grab this opportunity and listen to what they can offer me, aside from apology.
the trope of switching phones because of being identical. And not using a phone case, so it can have the damaged-phone-plot-send-me-the-bill-chance-to-interact-again. This drama is very sneaky in letting audience think that they know the cliches that comes with it but then also somehow giving it a little tweak. the dragged on the plot of break up, making it a slow burn romance. They don't see each other as a potential love interest, but the coincidences are enough to make them peak interest on each other which we know that later will be cooked to a happily-ever-after-because-it's-a-kdarma.
because episode 5 is very different from the synopsis, the poster and even the tags/genres, I need to put spoiler…
he is an interestingly flawed character - one who took care of his bestfriend, a goofy boss, a person who plays with love a lot and was a bad husband (I don't know whose fault was the divorce, so let me assume that he did not do well and automatically falls on the bad category) :)
why the party cone hat? hahaha, I think it is for acquiring wisdom as one celebrates another year of birthday. He was a trash at first, which deborah described that led YuRi to break up with him, but because he is the main lead, he will have a character development :D
I'm regretting 😣Why did I start watching it? I should have waited for it to be completed. I can't wait for…
for real! I can just imagine the bliss of being able to binge this, of which I cannot afford now. I am scared that I will get spoilers of what's next. so here I am, bittersweetly joining the waiting game.

Hwang Chan Sung's character is listed as a main role (and obviously so based on the posters) so he will stick around for more or all episodes and is a key person to the story, so yep, I don't have complaints yet to see a "pathetic" deborah :D
episode 1 gave us the premise of break up (yuri and su hyeok), and until now (episode 5) they are feeding us with scenes following that break up (realistically and in fantasy/dramaland aspect). It will be dragging for some but for me, this is refreshing because it is not the "strong female who can rise back up magically"(male lead, cue). just as what Su Hyeok said (in episode 5 when he was convincing her to write a book for their company to publish), this drama will be of what that book's content will be. It is about "what happens next after breaking up" and at what we have already seen of the worse, the "what comes next in getting dumped/cheated on".. Her experience and process is hinting romcom which is the exact description but also because of the dragging effect of tackling a reality, of which can come of as leaning close to slice of life. And this is maybe one of the few reasons why I will be in this drama ride until the end. I love slice of life but I am also weak to romcom. Moreover, because I know that kdrama is the land of happy ending, enduring the "pathetic" phase will be worth it. Although, it would be a breath of fresh air if the leads were to be comrade-in-arms instead of love interest, of which will be most unlikely.
People are criticizing Bo-Ra for acting "pathetic" over the course of this breakup, but I interpret it differently.…
I want to believe that she truly loves him that drive her to become "pathetic." the alcohol was to blame too, but also because she is finding hard to accept and picture a future without him. love makes us pathetic, I think..
I don't know if it is for story's sake, but I am also glad that Ju Hwan was so adamant about not getting back at her. He left her without hesitation at the gate of his house and did not give any hint of consideration for her. He is a selfish cheater, but we know that this will pave way for our girl so that she can not have any false hope and focus on getting over him.
my favorite airing drama as of now :D This is entertaining! I think it is because break up is foreign to me and this drama is showing it and describing it that gives me second hand experience.
this was a scam,
but the twist is: I am loving this more than I have expected
so a good scam :D
I could never pull off that color
