the fighting and the flying were good but the visual fx were ASS!
Also pacing was weird and they needed more development. If it was a show I’m sure they coulda developed the relationship better. Like they had chemistry but no development which I feel like if you only care for spiciness then it’s okay but tbh it wasn’t that spicy.
I also didnt like how Liyang and Yuanshan were married, I thought they were just betrothed or at least expected to be married. But acting and story was good. And lastly, idkwtf they were doing with the ending but it never needed to be done. It wasn’t even creative, just bad. The alt storyline/past life just never needed to happen pushed in in 7mins
I literally dropped it. When they introduced Taku-chan, Todo’s “younger brother” I started being suspicious and skeptical cause I absolutely HATE brother storylines. And ofc they did it. It doesn’t matter if they aren’t actually blood related but they grew up as brothers and accept each other as brothers so it is still incest to me. Not to mention they’re already doing a teacher and student plot why do we have to have a brother plot line??? Like why does this have to have controversy all throughout?!?!
I agree with you. And especially in Ine Room Angel cause there was no reason at all the “angel” had to be a high schooler and I think he was in the lower grade of high school. Like the story worked easily if he was a college student.
I was watching the unbreakable film series and this drama has many similarities to it. Like both have the arrogant but also low self esteem main characters who finds themselves superheroes in a realistic world. I love how these stories tell a realistic superhero
Just finished episode 5, they better not piss me off with 6. But this show is very good and Robin is so dreamy. I love how he is the same in real life and on this show. Also it’s a simple plot but I like it a lot and I rarely ever see chaebol families in Japanese shows so that was funny.
Could have been cuter cause there was just so much aggression and sa. Like how is there two types of assault🤔But I enjoyed the production and the characters as themselves and acting wasn’t bad either. Just could have been so much better. It was good at the beginning but it kept going downhill
the first episode made me breakdown in tears. I cried for like 7mins straight, like it was bad. Also I keep thinking about the show, that’s how good it is. Like it hasn’t left my mind
I watched all of Zenra Meshi, as bad as it was. This guy played the veggie store owner, right? What are you referring…
i didn't watch this movie, I'm just saying its not common for a bl to bring out a foreigner and not usually allude to something like how Life Love on the Line alluded to Make Our Days, which was a taiwanese and japanese crossover. So I thought perhaps they did it here too. His story seemed like it was too deep to be just a background story.
also the couple has no chemistry or atleast Jeng does. Jeng is carrying the chemistry to the point it seems onesided. Pat does not seem to like him. He literally went from liking Put to being angry at Jeng but never actually developing feelings.
EXACTLYYYY! He seems to talk like that to seem younger but really he's portraying the character as a baby when the character is a grown ass man. Its probably because the character is older than the actor who needs to work on his acting
wow, thank you so much. I saw the couple in HIStory 5 and thought maybe I should watch their story more, I won't be doing that anymore but it weirds me out how the couple is continued in HIStory 5, they must have been a popular couple to get a feature, despite the sexual abuse, which is really upsetting
