It became stale around the halfway point for me too. It was the same thing over and over with a few relatively…
I was also actually curious about Baek Kyung's brother's story. I just feel that there's something whenever he looks at his brother. It's not how a brother usually looks at his sibling. I even thought that maybe they had a story in the past too like he was born a female and had liked him secretly them or something like that. Haha
Am I the only one who thinks that this drama started out great but became a bit dull from the middle towards the end? Nevertheless, I don't regret watching it since it introduced me to Baek Kyung ah(Lee Jae Wook). My fave character in this drama would still be Do Hwa.
OMG! Just saw the preview for Ep 15-16 and it really seems like they (Haru and Dan Oh) are characters of another novel(Flower I guess) with a short clip of them wearing a traditional outfit.
This drama and Tale of Nokdu completes my week...not a single boring episode(so far) for me. Am I the only one who thinks that Jae Wook suits the role of Kyung well? Also, the friendship here between the 3 aware characters are so cute.
I decided to watch this after reading the plot and seeing Seo Ji Hoon in the cast but as I watch it, Seo Ji Hoon's character gets shown less often. I actually thought and was really hoping that he would be the male lead. I also like his character and feel sorry for his wife-to-be will soon be stolen from him.
Well, what else can I say? Kim So Hyun looks good with whoever she's paired up with. Loving the interaction between the leads and I feel the romance will start soon. For those who are suffering withdrawal symptoms from Love Alarm, definitely watch this one. :)
This drama is soooooooo good until characters BZH got piosoned and the characters started dying, especially DF and BSS but those circumstances led to QG becoming the demon god. I really loved it when her character changed. I love it when she calls her teacher Bai Zi Hua. Too bad, it only lasted 3 episodes. The last 2 episodes for me were the best and the ending for me was satisfying.
Before watching this drama, I came across the cut scenes online, which is why I decided to watch it. I'm glad that I did cause it made me understand some things like why in ep 50, BZH is seen crying on the floor. Why did the director and production team cut those scenes? It showed a lot of emotions.
I heard that there was a season 2 for this but since the main leads have been changed, I have no plans of watching it. Anyways, the first season was already enough for me.
Lastly, I've been a fan of Zhao Liying since Boss and Me and Wallace Huo since Love Me If You Dare. In this drama, both of them didn't disappoint me in terms of their acting and chemistry. I give a thumbs up to both and to the entire cast.
P.S. For those who will just be starting this drama, be prepared to hate BZH's Senior Brother and Ni Man Tian. I believe everything started with them. Also, I think among the 3 superior immortal of Chang Liu, BZH's junior brother is the most suitable for the sect leader position cause he is the most calm and reasonable one.
I'm on episode 9 and it has been a while since I watched a drama where so man guys fall in love with one girl. So far, I love each and everyone of them. Hopefully, they won't become annoying in the next episodes.
I super love it. Definitely one of my favorite Taiwanese dramas.
Can Hao Chen and Xin Ya just date in real life? Their chemistry is just amazing on-cam and off-cam(Watched all of the behind the scenes of this drama both with and without subs. So cute and sweet how Hao Chen asks for kisses and hugs from Xin Ya, how he keeps on teasing her by bringing out toy cockroaches and spiders and how he offered his back for Xin Ya to sit on but Xin Ya couldn't sit on it cause he's so tall. It only goes to show how comfortable they are with each other. I actually think that he fell for her while filming this drama but maybe it's just me daydreaming that one day, they'll become a real couple. ???? They surely had a lot of fun on the set.)
Who wouldn't fall in love with Zi Hao played by Hao Chen? I mean, how can a guy look cute, handsome and hot at the same time? Plus, he is so loyal to the one he loves. On the other hand, there were moments when I found Ke Ai annoying but her character got better on the second half.
What a twist for Zhen Yi. Unlike other dramas where girls are fighting over one guy, in this one, just like Zi Jie said, I've never seen a guy fight with a woman over the female lead, which I found interesting. I actually love her character. For Zi Jie, I love how he and Zi Hao does not fight over the position anf instead, they help each other for the sake of the company. They surely have an adorable relationship. As for Xiao Gang, I've never suffered a second lead syndrome in this cause I really see him as a great older brother for Ke Ai. I was really happy that he also had a happy ending.
Frankly speaking, I'm not a fan of office dramas when it comes to Taiwanese dramas cause mostly, they become boring and focus too much on problems in the office but on this one, I like how it is well balanced. Also, there are no evil second leads. Just seeing their loved ones happy is enough for them. Another thing, the mother of Zi Hao eventually accepted Ke Ai while his father is supportive of his son's lovelife unlike other dramas where the parents does everything to make the main leads apart.
I will definitely rewatch this drama, especially those sweet, cute and romantic scenes.
If you are looking for a drama without villains, annoying 2nd female/male leads or parents, different character…
Ikr. It is impossible not to ship those two. The bts are so adorably cute and sweet. It was so cute how Bruce asked Amber for a kiss twice(role playing Zi Hao but all I can see is Bruce XD). It only shows how close he is with Amber. Also, when they celebrated the end of the drama, he doesn't seem to want to say goodbye yo Zi Hai and Ke Ai. He hugged Amber tightly. They hugged each other for a long time until the one taking the video said that he already circled thrice. It seems that they don't want to part from each other. I'm really hoping for them to date each other in real life or at least, work in many more dramas together in the future. ????

I think most of the audience shipped Smile with Kyro in ep 1 but later shifted to Smile - Badz pairing later on, especially since the screentime of the original pairing gets lesser and lesser.

Well, let me just change the comment I left earlier. Hehe. Ep 2 changed it all. After watching ep 2 and some clips of them together, I'm convinced...I'll be rooting for Smile - Badz pairing from here on. While watching them even without subs, I unconsciously find myself smiling from ear to ear. On the other hand, don't worry Chloe. I'm sure there are others like you who is still rooting for the original couple.
