I feel really weird. I really ship the original couples, as Smile and Kyro, and mostly, Liz and Badz. If really,…
Started watching ep 1 yesterday and I immediately shipped Smile with Kyro, so i was a bit disappointed with the changed partners theme but since I'm only on ep 1, maybe my ship will still change as the story develops, hopefully cause I think that Smile and Kyro looks good together.
What I like: *The loving and bickering relationship of the Zhao siblings. *Guanchao and Wu Yi's love story. *Tough on the outside but soft on the inside Zhao mother. *Loving stepfather(since most dramas show abusive stepparent). *Yan Mo and Qiaoyi's romance spanning 9 years. *Although Yan Mo only shows 2 face to his wife, he is such a loyal guy who always plays along Qiaoyi's role playing games. I'll also mention his scary yet funny smile. XD *The ending ost that sounds so sad it makes me tear up a bit whenever it is played in the background. *Qiaoyi's drunken scenes are so funny. (We all know that it was Yan Mo's plan to conduct the party in his house so that is relationship with her would be revealed to everyone) *The cute uncle of Yan Mo and his cute love story with Alice. *No annoying characters. *While other dramas felt so rushed, this one even provided us a glimpse of up to 2 years of their married life. *The pacing is slow but I love it. *I think tha casting is perfect even for those small roles and especially for out 3 pairings ---- Yan Mo-Qiaoyi, Guanchao-Wu Yi and Dachuan-Alice. All of them look good together. *It is based on the writer's real story with her husband. Am I the only one who loves watching dramas that are based on real life stories? I wonder if they already have a child at present.
If there's anything, I wish they have cut down the business problems a bit.
P.S. I think the synopsis should be changed because Yan Mo never had anyone else beside Qiao Yi. They never had anyone else beside each other.
Don't know anything about the cast but the plot seemed interesting, so I gave it a go. The female lead is so expressionless. The only thing that moves in her face are her eyes when blinking and her mouth when talking(I have watched other jmovies/dramas where the girl tend to be shy, introverted, doesn't talk much but in some, the actress was able to express emotions through her eyes in which I didn't felt here. Also, they lack time to show us the romance building up between the two. On the contrary, I like the background story(why he decided to mark her and how he secretly protected her even as a child). As for the ending, it was hanging but we all know that they're gonna end up together. I just wish they showed it to us. Also, I find the guardian wings adorable. That's I'm looking forward to the 2nd and 3rd installment of this trilogy.
It was a cute, lighthearted and sweet drama to watch. This is the kind of drama that you can easily watch and the ending also didn't feel rushed. I just didn't feel Fu Pei and Wang Shan's pairing much. I actually thought that Momo's other friend and her boyfriend(the one who she thought was Gu Wei Yi holding the bouquet of flowers during their graduation day) looked much cuter but aside from that, I enjoyed watching this drama overall.
does anyone think this drama is going to end like the one it was based on? I am hoping for a traditional Korean…
This is the reason why I'm hesitant to start watching this drama even though I'm a fan of YJG. I remember crying a lot while watching the last episode of the TW version. Maybe I'll wait for this drama to end first and see if it will have a happy ending or not.
Those who are looking for a lighthearted drama will surely love this one. The first episode and the scene in the last episode where Chaba became a ghost reminds me of Pee Mak, a movie that also gave me a good laugh especially since Freud was also a part of the cast here.
What I like: *Perfect casting(can't imagine anyone else playing the role of Chaba and Thong Aek.) *No annoying 2nd leads or parents-in-law.(Although Chaba's father was against the marriage, his method of getting in between the couple were actually funny) *The family and friends are so funny. *The story didn't get draggy/boring(didn't skip or fastforwarded anything) *The OST suits the scenes well, especially the one sang by Mario and the cute boys Piak and Toon. *Tons of funny, cute and sweet moments(the facial expression of Mario when Chaba told her she had her period was priceless XD and the moment when they want to hug each other but the baby bump is getting in the way. Haha). *The ending was very satisfying. While some says that it should have ended in ep 11-12, I was actually glad that it has 14 episodes. I just couldn't get enoug of the sweetness between Chaba and Thong Aek. Surely, there were scenes that I find cringy but they're just so cute together.
There's just one thing that I can't say I didn't like...it's just that I didn't feel Pong much. I mean, she is a pitiful character having a mother like Mor Mun but I don't know if its the actress, the way she speaks or how she potrayed her role but whenever I see her face, I feel like she suits villain characters more even though she didn't do anything evil in this lakorn but it might just be me who feels this way. The only time I like her was when everybody thought that she's a ghost and the last episode. Also, I thought that Nickhun and Margie would play an important role. So, I was actually looking forward to them when I saw them in the preview but it was just a normal cameo.
P.S. Perm and that doctor in the end are handsome.
PPS. This is the 2nd lakorn of Kimmy that I watched and both times, she married a handsome doctor. ????
Yes, this lakorn does well with characters building even with small roles. Character like Pranai make me appreciate…
I'm already halfway TAMYTC. Its a good drama for those who are looking for something funny to watch. As for GS, its my first JiTaew lakorn and I love it. :)
Finally, I finished it! What I didn't like: *Sina as Siriya acting like the master of the house, especially in the first eps. Surely, she wants to find out who tried killing her sister but I think she's too much. As a mistress, she kept embarrassing Nat who is the legal wife. *There were many scenes that I found uninteresting, especially in the second part of the lakorn(at around ep 19. I watched them in fast forward mode). For me, it became interesting again at around ep 28. *There were times when I had a hard time distinguishing who is Sina and who is Siriya. I think the only difference between them is their tone of voice and Sina's laser eyes but there were also times when Siriya appears to be tough too. (Maybe, it's because I have already watched many dramas with twins or split personalities, so I was hoping that I would see more distinction between the two sisters here.) *I didn't really feel the romance between Siriya and Krit. To be honest, I didn't care much whether they would end up together or not.
What I like: *The chemistry between the leads. I can't deny the fact that Bua and Pop look good together. *The side characters like Nuan, Lert, Hia and Suzy Roth's handler and of course, Khao Suay who is so cute. *The mother of Pop and Pa is a good person. She treated Thi like her own son and she was even happy when he reconciled with his mother. *The addition of comedy. I like how it wasn't all serious. There were a lot of scenes that I like....the sports day at Khao Suay's school, the scenes with Suzy Roth's handler, and the drunk scene in the last episode.
I just have one question. Since Sina was the one who signed the marriage contract, does that make it invalid? If so, then what happens to Pop's inheritance since there was a clause stating that Thi and Siriya should live together for a year.
All in all, this was a good lakorn. I just wish that they cut down the number of episodes.
I defintitely love it! From the story, the acting, the ost, romance, action, revenge, I love it. I do admit that I fastforwarded some scenes like the scenes of Phollathep and Jaojom Phen but aside from that, I enjoyed watching the rest. The fighting scenes were great. There was this one scene that gave me goosebumps...the scene where they were fighting against Burma and they used an elephant to open the gate then the background song played(the lyrics of the song fits the lakorn well).
Aside from how the romance between the leads progressed(Mangmao and Aokpra Sri are so cute, funny and sweet), this lakorn showed love for one's country. The scene where Nant sacrificed himself for the greater mission made me cry. There was also one unexpected character...Pranai. I thought that he would just be like his sister but it was unexpected that he was very loyal to his country.
The lakorn ended with no question left unanswered. Everybody got what they deserve. It wasn't rushed as well. In fact, it gave me more than what I was expecting, so I couldn't wish for more. This lakorn and Bpoophae Sunniwat made me look forward to watching more historical lakorns in the future.
I started it expecting that it would be a typical romcom genre drama but as I watch it, I came to realize that it has a little bit of everything - suspense, romance, comedy and even horror. XD, which made it enjoyable to watch from start to end. I do agree that the ending felt a bit rushed but still, its not the kind of drama that leaves you feeling disappointed in the end. All in all, it was a refreshing drama and Sung Hoon is as gorgeous as ever. I also love all the OST of this drama.
The 3rd James Ji lakorn that I watched(all with different female leads) and the 7th lakorn of Yaya for me. I like…
Just watched their guesting on Today Show. I must say that Yaya is really a professional...continuing the scene even though she was already stung by the jelly fish. On the other hand, James Ji is so funny shouting for help even though the water was shallow. During their costume fitting, it was awkward for James Ji to call Yaya P' cause they're not yet close but after filming the lakorn, you will see that they have gotten really close.
The 3rd James Ji lakorn that I watched(all with different female leads) and the 7th lakorn of Yaya for me.
I like the OST Joop sang by Yaya and James Ji. I like how it has played a role in the relationship between the leads somehow.
James Ji's cheeks are so plump here(makes me want to pinch him XD). When I first saw him, I thought that the pupils of his eyes were big, so I thought that he was wearing contact lenses just for the role but after seeing him in another lakorn, I realized that it was his natural eyes and there's no doubt that its one of his charms.
I personally think that the story was quite simple. So, if you are looking for something with angst, then this is probably not for you. On the other hand, it is rare for me to find a drama that did not involve killing, men with guns, people running away fpr their lives, debts, company anomaly, which usually takes about half of the lakorn time and that's one thing I like about it. However, their bickering becomes repetitive. Nevertheless, I have never once thought of dropping it.
I like how I got to see more care and love between the leads towards the end but I just wish that they let us see the wedding. I was really hoping to see a wedding scene in the end but at least, it was still a happy ending. The background of the last scene was beautiful too. Another thing, there weren't many people against the lead's relationship(the guys who love Pum aren't evil, the parents aren't against them. The difference in their family background was also not an issue). The main problem here is just the main leads not opening up their feelings. It took Pum 12 episodes to confess(although actions speak louder than words). Also, in lakorns, the pra'ek always don't allow another man to get near the nang'ek when they, themselves, can't get rid of the leeches that has been clinging on to them.
P.S. I'm just wondering if Channel 3 has already purchased those houses because in their lakorns, typically, the houses used are the same. Also, am I the only one who found Doctor Prasong cute?
First of all, I haven't seen any lakorn of Kim or James Ma, so I didn't know what to expect with their acting. I only know Namcha(I love her character Rose in Rak Gan Panlawan and I really hated her character here, which only goes to show that she's good in acting). Now, back to the main leads, I think that they did a great job. Most of all, they have good chemistry. They made the sweet scenes look natural. If I didn't know that Kimmy is dating Mark, I would have shipped them too in real life. There are just some pairings that look good on screen like Mark-Yaya, James Ji-Taew, Toomtam-Vill, etc. and I'm so happy that James and Kim have a new lakorn together(I'm also looking forward to James and Yaya's lakorn).
The main problem here is that they started off on the wrong foot. Nuth thought that Wat was the one who sent the photo and was only after money when he married her. On the other hand Wat thought that Nuth and Chaya is in a relationship. He even thought that she was pregnant with Chaya even though she denied it.
Having read comments before watching this, I was prepared to hate Nuth but as I was watching it, I didn't hate her as much as I thought I'd hate her. Even when Wat broke his promise once, she forgave him but Wat broke his promise again. He could have asked other people for matters regarding Soam as he already knows that she is after ruining their marriage but due to his soft nature, he kept getting involved with her even if its unintentional. With the video and seeing her husband's things in the other house, she's likely to misunderstand. Also, she was pregnant during this time, so she can be quite sensitive. She also nearly lost her child. On the other hand, she should have trusted her husband more than the woman who is out to break them apart.
Wat's character here is like Pisut's character in Samee Tee Tra. Both lakorns show that marrying a good man has both good and bad sides. The bad side is that they are easily deceived by those vicious women around them to the point that it is hurting their marriage. However, the female lead's character is more understandable in Samee Tee Tra since she came from 2 failed marriage and her 3rd husband cheated on her with her friend while here, I can't seem to understand where Nuth's trust issue came from since no one cheated on her nor is she inferior to Soammika.
I love how in lakorns, the assistants and servants add comedic factors. I also like how in this one, the aunties were actually funny and interesting. They weren't actually wicked.
In the end, this lakorn shows that success does not define happiness. For sure, many of us will think that Nuth's education has gone to waste but when we look at it closely, Nuth has been successful all her life but she has found true happiness only in that island with her husband and their child. They seem really contented. Also, not every successful person is happy with their life. On the other hand, I so love the scenes on the island. It makes me want to visit Thailand one day.
The story reminds me of Sud Sai Pan(Toomtam-Vill version) where the ML has been cheated on by the person who looks like the FM. So, they vent out their anger at the FM thinking that it was their ex-gf. Then they ended up living together. The ML discovers the truth but they have already fallen in love with the FM. In both dramas, the ML is possessive but I like Ratt's character more because he was not that forceful towards Dada. He was actually very gentle towards her.
I think just like in Sud Sai Paan, the story is great until one of the characters started their killing spree(Maybe because right now, I am looking for a drama tht focuses on romance. You know, there are times when you are looking for certain genres to watch. Haha). The drama turned from romance to crime with too much killing but it was still able to keep me entertained till the end.
As for the cast, I'm not familiar with any of the main or second leads. It's funny how I'm more familiar with the older casts like Ratt's father, Dada's mother and Riya. Nevertheless, all of them did a great job. I like the close relationship between the father and son. He is such a loving father here(In Leh Ratree, he was someone who sold off this daughter to pay off his debts). On the other hand, as for Dr. Goson, am I the only one who sees Pope in him especially with those glasses? I mean, they can pass as father and son XD.
On the other hand, Din moved on from Dada real fast. I felt the pain he felt when he asked Dada if they can still go back as before with tears in his eyes then just a while later, he confessed his feelings for Kwan and tells her that he thought he love Dada. I think it was quite absurd that during all those years since university, he just realized that what he felt actually wasn't love and then fast forward, they're getting married. Just an episode ago, you still wanted Dada back I even felt that with how fast the 2nd lead's love developed, they would get married faster than the main leads. I even felt sorry for him in the early episodes thinking that his gf was stolen from her. Didn't know that he would be able to move on that fast XD (P.S. I don't have any problem with the 2nd leads cause they look good together and I think that they're a good pair. Now, for the main leads, I like their chemistry. Fell in love with Ratt's smile and I like it whenever he kisses Dada on the cheeks and doesn't hesitate to tell her he loves her.
Overall, I like how they wrapped up everything in the end with no question left unanswered. I was just hoping to see the main lead's wedding and maybe some little kids since there was nothing holding them back anymore. Also, somehow, I wish Lookaew will meet a good man cause I think that she's actually a pitiful person.
Hay can i ask something ?? How many episodes do this drama have ... Mdl says its 10 episode but kissasian have…
The number of episodes can be quite confusing since there are some who merge several episodes together, which I think is much convenient when watching. Don't worry I also watched it there and even though it only has 2 episodes, it is complete. Enjoy watching :)
What I like:
*The loving and bickering relationship of the Zhao siblings.
*Guanchao and Wu Yi's love story.
*Tough on the outside but soft on the inside Zhao mother.
