I was crushing on Ji Chang Wook the whole time but the drama has this really weird vibe, and the romance between Wook and Yoon Ah was kinda off. Forced I guess? I can’t comprehend why he fell for her. They wouldn’t be a great match, their upbringing and background don’t make their personalities complement each other well. Dropped it eventually.
This guy is really attractive. Like even when his face is covered in blood and his eyes become all black in the Uncanny Counter Season 1. He still looks so good.
This is my top 2 most favorite Kdrama to date (“Tomorrow” is my ultimate no.1) mainly because of the beautiful life lessons this drama gave me. I couldn’t count how many times I cried (bawling more like) while watching.
Please don’t put any romance between Mun and Hana. I love their family dynamic on the show. It will only ruin it for me. Sure let Hana have her own romance arc but with her first love.
While people are hating on Jeok Bong, I’m giving him a chance in season 2. And Mr.Lee too, who knows what he’ll do in the end, which side will win? His gentle and kind nature prior to his wife’s murder? Or the demon possessing him?
Not exactly one of my most favorite Kdramas of all time. But it’s a very worthwhile filler drama where you just want to watch for its fluff, positivity and sweet sweet romance. I think King the Land never wanted to be ambitious in its plot so that’s how people should consider this as and it worked. Aside from the sizzling chemistry between Yoon Ah and Jun Ho, the great thing about the story is that it shed light on the struggles of ordinary employees involved in the customer service industry and how top management should take better care of them and appreciate their efforts. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a happy heart fluttering drama with no complicated plot. I needed this for sure after completing the political heavy drama Queenmaker (which was just awesome btw) and the violent dystopian Black Knight.
Currently at episode 6 and darn it, I can't believe a thriller is making me cry. The love that Ji Won has for Hyun So is so beautiful and redeeming. Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Woon are incredible, high calibre actors.
This episode was quite political, as per usual in Seasons 1 and 2. I think the best thing for me was Jun Ji Hyun's acting. I was so used to her comedic roles in My Sassy Girl and My Love from the Star. So I was pleasantly surprised with her transformation as Ashin. I'm looking forward to her role in Season 3, what her dynamic would be with the crown prince Lee Chang after knowing that she was the one that actually started the zombie epidemic in Joseon.
And to those people who complain about this episode being useless, what better way to stop the whole zombie epidemic than go straight to the one that started it all? *rolls eyes* When trying to solve a problem, go straight to the source, the cause. This was the teaser in Season 2.
For the first 3 episodes I also didn't like the FL at all..Then from the 4 th ep I started liking her.So try to…
This feels a lot like Start Up to me, a really popular drama that I despised lol. I still have My Ahjussi and Flower of Evil on my list, two dramas that I'm really looking forward to watching. After that I'll make another attempt just to see if it will suit my taste. I felt the comedy was out of place and forced. I guess I prefer the drama's atmosphere to be consistent, given that it deals with evil corrupt people and all that jazz. Not the popular opinion but I liked how Vagabond handled the corruption type of thing in governments and multinational conglomerates. It was vicious and filthy as it should be.
I'm still not sure if I should watch this or not. Anyone pls help me decide between Hotel Del Luna, 18 Again and…
I love WYWS but hands down, definitely 18 Again. It is an incredible masterpiece and a criminally underrated Kdrama (good thing Lee Do Hyun won a Baeksang award for it). I wrote a lengthy comment about it because I love it so much. I never expected to love it more than the perfection that is CLOY. People have been missing out on this drama's beauty. Highly highly recommended!
12/10 for me :)
