Top comedy. It’s chaotic while not destroying the story line and I love it.
There’re so many complaints about the anime version, tho. I wasn’t expecting any??? Watched it before the drama, and thought it was great just like the manga. If anything, I prefer the anime more than the drama. It’s more true to the style of the original manga. However, this is coming from someone who’ve been watching anime all their life
The last scene before the ending credits tho… So, the two met because Matsuda dropped her phone and Kagaya took it back to her. If this were a rom-com, it’d be cute and all. But given the whole plot of ‘getting stalked, or worse, killed, because you dropped your phone’, the backstory’s so unsettling
I find it quite amusing that they just strait up insert super basic sentences of Hakata dialect just because the actress is from Fukuoka prefecture lol Welcome to my long-ass comment because I’m sleep-deprived Since I watched Unlocked(the Korean adaptation)before this one, there’re many points worth comparing. The acting of Japanese version is … interesting… The thing I find as a pattern of J-actors is that they usually starts as a model, so it’s no doubt that K-actors, who majors in acting, would do a better job. But the preferred style in the industry of each country also plays an integral role. (I used to think that they’re overacting in J-dramas, but, oh well, people genuinely are like that in Japan. So cultural context contributes hugely) I’m a little bit over a halfway through this and what I’ll say regarding “who did it better” is that, J-version has better script, imho, and K-version has better acting and camera work which, hell yeah, it should be as K-version is out in 2023(while J is 2018) I’m very impress with the editing. That being said, J-version, or dare I say a awfully lot of J-movies/dramas, has a vibe of early 2010s TV… J-version touches on the killer’s background which sadly isn’t talked about in K-version, thus made the latter not quite satisfying.
Knowing the style of Japanese film, the plot was predictable for me. The second half is kind of rush, imo. Or it might be intentional. We will never know. It didn’t help that some actors were a hit or miss in some scence. But it was okay, overall.
The very reason I prefer K-drama over Western ones is exactly because the excessive sex scence in the latter……
I bet if the ML isn’t conventionally attractive, this show would have much lower rating, tbh. It kinda glorifies the serial killer by making him look “hot/handsome”
The very reason I prefer K-drama over Western ones is exactly because the excessive sex scence in the latter… Though, they have nice bodies. I agree on that.
I liked it, but not to the point to love it. It was a great choice I believed in PEB and watch the show, nontheless.…
By “the screenwriting kinda got weird” I mean 1. The writer kinda got too much on their place?? The story kinda lost its focus. 2. That brat KMW tryna take our sunshine CSY. Like, you(the writer) do acknowledge that not every character has to be paired, right!? If you really want to pair them, then try to find better way to redeem KMW. ‘He slipped in the bathroom, hit his head on the toilet, got back into his mind and went apologize to WYW.’ Something like that!
I liked it, but not to the point to love it. It was a great choice I believed in PEB and watch the show, nontheless. And Kang Ki Young is the inspiring character, once again after his role as a teacher in Moment at Eighteen and I love that. In my own humble opinion, the screenwriting kinda got weird in the second half. I don’t want SS2 to happen… Unplanned extra season is almost always disappointing, especially for a drama that does really well like this
So the writer decided the poor background card would make Min Woo a better person. I frowned so hard during the scence the writer was trying to pair Su Yeon with him. I just know they’re gonna end up together and I’m not happy with that. Growing up poor and having to struggle to pay for bills is one thing. Having biased opinion on Young Woo because she’s autistic and trying every way possible to get her fired is another! Su Yeon deserves better
It’s so addicting, I binged all episode in one sit. I was so excited ever since they released the posters, which are AMAZING, imho. I’m so sad it wasn’t available on Netflix where I live until weeks ago. Park Gyu Young never disappoints! Tbh, I kinda wanna see more of the Netherlands Dali

The police friend is so stupid I cannot
