The drama was going on very well, they just HAD to add an evil mother. But I liked the way both hong-ju and hoo-young handled her and gave her the facts. I think the argument was unnecessary but it ultimately made them understand each other better.

where did u get all that from??? If he had been deeply in love with her, he would have already known everything about her life in the past years or at least kept in contact with their mutual friends. i did not get the implication that he was deeply in love with her and was thinking abt her. he left, leaving her and his life in korea behind.....he came back, coincidentally met her, reconnected with his old friends and old life and now he wants to stay back and live his own life on his own decisions. its not implied that fl was dating men left and right, its shown that she has issues dating other people because of her trust issues. the ml nor the fl are not being shown as inexperienced people or people who waited for each other. it seems as though u have a issue with the writer being female. maybe u should check that out

i mean if u watch romance dramas, especially rom-com/feel good ones you will get people simping over their significant other. U can try thriller dramas or other genres to see other types of characters!

Um thats a big assumption to make. He was not hung up on the crush. He liked her but then he went away, lived his life for 10 years and his feelings reawakened when he met her, that too coincidentally. For him to be abusive or something he would have had to be stalking her while he was away or controlling her life or something. And he would have probably went to her when he landed back home. But none of that happened. If u don't like a drama u can just say that lol, no need to make such a big reach to justify u not liking stuff

i can't answer the first few questions but abt the ml and sfl it does not turn bad, it actually turns out to be a cute moment and makes their friendship more wholesome

why didn't the writer guy just say to her that he will comeback and for her to wait??? like sir u were able to say it in the air why couldn't u turn around and say it to her face? would have saved us some time

They are becoming really cliche in the end. The last ep is going to be of him being in coma-everyone being positive and waiting for him-he wakes up and they live happily
