that kid is behaving pretty normally for a teen. most likely he came to korea because he didnt like his stepfather(you…
not every teenager has parents who are not together and he probably felt isolated when his mother moved on and then he turns to his father whi he hasn't contacted in years to see that his father has moved on too while he is the only one who is now stuck being alone. ppl get into shitty situations and behave badly, its important that they understand their mistake, heal and learn from it
i just am very confused by this drama. everyone seemed to have quick personality changes
atp there was no need for the mother to die. the daughter who was so cold to everyone suddenly is very cutesy and bubbly and letting a man she barely knew live with her......where are the survival skills??? is she so desperate to not be lonely that she will let anyone in? the father's love story is also happening quick, it would have been nice if it was just a friendship but they are quickly moving towards romance and idk how long it has been since the mom died but this feels way too soon. the ml child thing too......why did he have no contact with his son? the dialogue was too vague. why did she cut him off? was there a reason? or is it just him never bothering to make contact with his child?
isn't this show also very similar? the difference is just she has a job. she does not spend time with anyone else…
doesn't it though.....her not having any friends/refusing to spend time with ppl irl just to mass stream his song and 'support' him is obsessive fan culture.
isn't this show also very similar? the difference is just she has a job. she does not spend time with anyone else…
i watched both eps, the 2nd does get slightly better but then there is another thing which i think is there for comedic effect but it gave me the ick. the idol worship is strong with this one. i don't get why ppl are saying this is calling out parasocial fans, it seems to be encouraging them imo
This is 100 times better than whatever tf was Lovely Runner making people fantasise about falling in love with…
isn't this show also very similar? the difference is just she has a job. she does not spend time with anyone else and her off-time is entirely spent obsessing over an idol. i really wish they toned down her obsessiveness and just made her a fan who found comfort in him. this still feels very weird for me just like LR
but it was a sudden shift. from ep 4 khol very quickly relies on jira. a bit of hesitation or doubts from his side would have been good for the story we are telling
i hope the promo isn't a boys only party like f4. no offence to the rest of the boys but it felt like they were promoted more as a group rather than the female lead who the story revolves around. i hope all the girls in the cast get to promote together and equally rather than just the male leads doing it
i think they need to show khol's lack of sleep affecting him which becomes a reason he is so attached and needy for jira. otherwise its looking like khol is just jumping into things, showing his weakness would be a better story telling imo
ugh can kdramas only portray fans like this? these obsessive ppl who live and breathe another person are not sane. going home and mass streaming a song, turning away people irl to virtually obsess over some one......why couldn't she just be a fan who liked and enjoyed his content. are they trying to say this kind of behavior is okay/normal? what is so different between her and the stalkers. and my biggest problem, her saying that she trusts him no matter what.....this kind of idol worship is not sane. it would have been better if she was not this kind of fan and she starts questioning everything with the rise of this case, her taking up this job by separating her personal and business life and deciding to defend him cause she found something. this already feels so icky with her going to defend him cause she 'trusts' him
someone said on x that the sets look like those disney sets which are filmed in front of a live audience and that's exactly what is my problem with these set pics they are releasing
i mostly agree with u. i already knew that they would not end up together so the question of hwo is her father did not bother me but i 100% that their breakup was not handled well. from heedo's side its at least a little bit more believable, her growing up and recognizing that they love and attention she got from her mother was hindered due to this particular career she chose and how she will probably repeat that cycle with yijin. but yijin's reasons/outburst didn't feel right. him being SO affect by 9/11 (im not saying its not valid/impossible) that he doesn't like heedo's support and can't see her needs....
ep 14: damn is it because i don't care about sports or i just can't believe people care abt athletes this much, to the point of abusing them. even in the last olympics i don't remember many athlete's names, where they are from or their career history and i don't think people would go out of their way to remember all this. its also like fencing is the only sport there. is it because sk is smaller and has less population? i can't imagine putting so much emotion on a 20 year old athlete, so much that u feel betrayed. if u wanted her to stay offer her better conditions. whats the point in calling her a traitor when her own teammates don't feel betrayed by her.
my only concern is how the show will handle the fact that she’s mentally an adult when she returns to her high…
omg this my exact same concern. i had this issue while watching 'lovely runner'. one character growing up and becoming an adult and then going back in time and falling in love with a teenager while they are mentally still an adult is mad weird. i hope they make her adulthood part some kind of psychic dream fond has where she sees how the future will unfold if she does not change the present
So he stabs the guy and wants to keep him alive and then there is a random fire and the bad guy is dead and everyone…
yeah that was a common complaint in other places, abt how the villain was so skilled in sword fighting that he could handle 5 ppl on his own but he was suddenly defeated in the last ep
the ml child thing too......why did he have no contact with his son? the dialogue was too vague. why did she cut him off? was there a reason? or is it just him never bothering to make contact with his child?
