This director is good at steamy scenes! LYS and Lusi's bed scenes were done beautifully. Even with the age gap,…
Yeah he's good at shooting romance, his shots are steamy but looks beautiful and not lusty, his cinematography and lighting are really good in this drama. Mind you this is A category drama with limited budget
Hm so this is the filler drama that will air after LLTG instead of the big productions, I might pass because the…
This drama is not S+ I think it's just around A in Tencent's category, but never heard they say it's a filler. So far what were seen in the trailers are better than expected though official drama remains to be seen.
The official weibo posted today that it is also a tribute to Jin Yong 50th anniversary of his last novel this year. Let those who want some classic wuxia get their show.
Dating in the kitchen have lots of steamy kiss scenes. So we can see it here too!!!
Haha so true^^. Dating in The Kitchen was a good drama in my opinion, the cinematography was gorgeous too
Besides the director's filming also made Lusi and Lin Yushen look good and attractive in Dating in The Kitchen, so can we imagine how dreamy Wu Lei and his muscles will look here... Hmmm ^^
That was the Snowy Mountain novel. The prequel while still really short compared to other JY stories is a bit…
I'm wary of it might being a melodrama too LOL, sleek trailers are often misleading as it's short and concise, I hope they stick true to the wuxia spirit, hopefully
The trailer cinematography and wuxia athmosphere indeed went much better than my expectation, however the most important part is the script and execution, as mentioned by some below, 40 episodes is too long, the source novel is not that interesting, and there is not much shown in the trailers, how will they make the story flow coherently? Will it be a seriously made chinese traditional martial arts drama or will it be just another love triangle drama with shallow character?
Tencent will release it when it's ready with the license and post production ^^.
Anytime it can air who knows since the coming soon and currently air dramas in Tencent such as Flying Fox/Fox Volant and so on are A level and won't affect the airing of an S+ drama, it doesn't have to be in winter vacation. Let's be patient and wait for a pleasant suprise ^^
im predicting this will show after the 3 big dramas are done airing: LLTG, LBFAD and IS, by then im sure this…
I heard that this drama still not getting its license yet, ownder what the delay is about. There are many rumors in weibo flying around that this might be in Q4. I can't wait for it too.
Tencent is so bad at getting the license for its huge dramas such that it has none in stock for September and forced to broadcast an unpopular Jin Yong wuxia drama as last resort.
will this become pure wuxia or just typical idol drama? Ngl in recent years wuxia drama are so bad nobody are…
LOL people who wants to watch this basically just because it's rare to have classical WUXIA these days, I heard Tencent had to put this up to broadcast because their big S and S+ dramas are not getting the license yet.

and Miao Renfeng relationship also look so sad
What filler drama? You mean Fox Volant? Fox is not same level/class nor genre with The Longest Promise they are not conflicting each other

I really want to watch a sincerely made new wuxia

Dropped halfway through an episode because it's definitely not for me..not the kind of wuxia comedy I was looking for....
And LLTG is NOT a flop LOL.
