I've heard good words on Mo Du so far. Also see there is finished live action on Shapolang which looks really beautifully casted though I havent read the novel.

Will do soon on the novel! I've went through Thousand Autumns which I think is pretty good haha. Will look onto Shapolang next. What else do you recommend of novels of this type out there? Some recommend Mo Du and Peerless

I havent read the novel but heard that it's one of Priest's best and heard great reviews about the ML Guyun. But boy the cast for this drama TJC and CZY are madly beautiful in the stills! Those armors and costumes are looking good! I hope the drama can go through the censorship smoothly.

Btw heard that HR which is the agency of Liu Xue Yi/Ren Jia Lun also coproducing with Mango. So it means there is possibility to sell to others such as iqiyi or tencent besides airing in Mango?

Good if Ren Jialun denied it. He's a good actor but SQ not for him. I dont think he's beautiful and young enough as SQ should look to be 20 yr old although SQ real age around 30?

Yeah no denial from Liu Xueyi. I'm not familiar with this actor. If he's YWS lets hope he can give the role justice and surprise everyones expectation, afterall its hard to cast a perfect YWS. Just like how Wu Lei did it as Ashina Sun in TLB and LYS as YX in HSDS 2019.

Not imo. YWS is hard to cast ..pity on the actor who will get casted because it will be huge burden to potray accurately and satisfactorily. The only person who has ability to carry YWS to life meeting nearly all his characteristics in my eyes as of now is Chen Kun.

exactly. Disappointed that Mango got the license. Hate Mango. Mango had bad reputation and their dramas dont get promoted. They have issues with their productions, cutting and subbing. For example if Killer and Healer was done and screened by Tencent or Youku instead of Mango it would've been a huge hit!

Dissatisfied with both selection if true. Can't see RJL as beautiful pure hearted SQ and please cast a HOT OLD MAN for YWS! Not a 30 year old! I see Chen Kun - OLD? Yes! HOT? Yes! CAN ACT? Yes! SEXY? Yes!
