After reading the novel and watching SWL's previous dramas I don't think he is a good choice. Unless he improved his acting skills and his facial expressions. Victor Ma already raised the standards higher acting as Sang Yan. Reading Wen Yifan's story there's just no way that he will be expressionless. I just expect chemistry where you can see that the actors clearly like each other and you can see that they are comfortable but with this cast, I don't see it. I've seen ZYX's previous dramas and I liked her there but I'm not sure she fits this one (visually I don't have problems, I just think that she needs a ML with whom she can create sizzling chemistry). Wen Yifan was written as extremely beautiful with a foxy-like face and eyes so I hope that they will stay true and not cast bubbly faces like Zhang Miao Yi (love her tho). I just imagine them as a more sexy couple than cute like Sangzhi and Duan Jiaxu.
it's a difficult thing .It rarely happens in Chinese dramas that the main couple talks to each other - let's talk…
Maybe 'meet yourself', 'road home' or 'you are my hero'. also (i will never stop recommending this drama) the science of falling in love (the chemistry there). The last two are lil more comedy but otherwise still worth mentioning because i love the couples there and the script is also very good. There's also recent 'all the way to the sun' mature drama but you might wanna see if it is to your liking because the leads there are kind of complicated.
THIS π IS π WHATπ I π MEANπ I π NEED π A π GOOD πROMANCE π DRAMA. Honestly, this drama is healing my heart after "You Are Desire" which title has nothing in common with the plot. This is what I needed after all these "romance" dramas with barely any skinship and romantic interactions. This script... a gem... rarely created + the number of episodes does not exceed the big amount which I'm VERY happy that they went that way because many dramas tend to make many unnecessary episodes. I also like that they went kind of differently with the sister. They did not make her get with ML coworker and have this kind of enemies to lovers which is most of the time a skip for me because how many times you can go with that? She is a person and a GOOD sister with many flaws and her love life is unstable. I was afraid that she was going to be a nagging person, especially when she was living with Tang Ying but no, and thank god. I grew to like her and her storyline (which is rare for me) I, honestly have enough of those perfect or almost-perfect characters. In the end, my heart goes to people who will miss on this drama, just like "The Science of Falling In Love" is underrated with a good romance plot and chemistry. Damn, I kinda wrote a review but this needed to be said and much more.
The first half of the drama was really promising but once they finished high school and started dating it became boring and the plot really wasn't it. I wish they focused more on friendship and relationships rather than the drama. Definitely didn't feel any excitement after Shen Juan and Yujing got together. It was bland.
If you're looking for an AMAZING chemistry and NATURAL skinship I definitely recommend "The Science of Falling in Love". Such an underrated drama. There's my comment describing it and many people agreed with me. I was mesmerized while watching. So if you have free time you know what to do.
Rightt. I know rn they want to put focus on uncle & shen juan's past story so we can see SJ come back to shooting…
That's right. I also felt like Yujing was more bold. I really liked her boldness in HS now she kinda cooled a bit. I thought she's gonna iniciate the skinship especially now, when SJ had a hard time but she missed so many opportunities. Kinda sad, it always adds to the drama when there's just natural skinship between couple.
I thought that Yujing and Shen Juan forgot what hugs were, but thankfully we see them in episode 18. I know that now there's a lot going on with Shen Juan's past but I hope we are going to see some fun and cute (also more skinship please) interactions between them. Kinda felt like they got together after the distance and just abandoned it and they dug into Uncle's history, it kinda became predictable especially when he now came back to the shooting team.
Can someone tell me how's the drama? Especially the romance between Mujia and Li Guang... when did they meet and is it healthy or there's some misunderstandings.. like when could you see a spark. I'm all in when it comes to age gaps also the plot seems really fun too ig.
I'm only at episode 5 but this show it's so cute that I can't. The male lead is such a cute potato when he's smiling that he captured my heart. I love that they are so different but really good for each other, like you can see the balance. Some dramas with that plot just don't work out but this is like a gem π₯²I rarely watch Thai dramas (most Chinese and Korean) because most of them are cliche and have a lot of angst but this for now is healing my heart and I hope it's going to stay that way.
I have mixed feelings about this drama so far. Something feels off but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's because it feels like everything is over the place? There are so many (little) things going on. We do not have an explanation for the murder just that it happened and a few leads, the ex came back, scumbags all over the place (paparazzi, Syeon being a pain in the ass, the brother(?) of the CEO, the mother). Just so many things going on and nothing at the same time. For me, they should at some point focus on one thing and not jump around. Because what do you mean by the ending of episode 4? Here I thought that we have a development between leads and then they drop the bomb? Later in the preview, they seem to be fine. What's going on?
I hope they are going to finally show us what happened. Seeing the scar on Doha's back I guess probably the ex was crazy about him and stabbed him on his back that's why he was walking on the sidewalk with a bloody shirt and the bloodied shoes of the ex, probably that's his blood, also the CEO's seems kinda fishy to me. Both he and his brother stay quiet on the case and probably helped him with the alibi.
Also, Sol Hee's ex came back... please do not be annoying I'm begging you π there are already enough of these people.
ngl her wanting to open her own hotel took me out. It came so suddenly as if the scriptwriters didn't know how to finish this drama + whole-ass adverts. Wasn't she also somehow connected to it in the beginning? or is my memory bad? I liked the ending but either way, I found myself fast-forwarding, it was a good drama overall.
Can someone tell between who was the romance in season 1? I'm considering watching because I saw good opinions in this drama, but out of curiosity how's the romance? βΊοΈ
I think I'm going to binge-watch the 3 last episodes because from what I see in the comments, I do not want to be left with unfulfillment and frustration lol.
also I hope the sister won't be 'white-washed' from her deeds and sins (like I hope she roots in hell). after episode 13 I would love for Sarang and Guwon to be foster parents. Jihu seems so sweet but that b and father do not seem to care or even love him and he seemed to like them so much
In your own opinion, where did this show go wrong ? Is it the acting of the leads? Please mention if it's the…
For me, a person who read the novel before this show started airing, the number of episodes definitely got me worried, and not in vain. 40 was definitely too much, I started to get bored before I even reached episode 20. The scenes (fillers) with the evil stepmother and weird stepbrother who had a crush on her, just felt boring. Even though I skipped their scenes this did not keep me excited. I've watched Chu Ran before, so I knew what to expect and she did pretty well. But Yang Yang who I saw in a few dramas, was just weird to me. I don't know whether it's the cuts but he just seemed awkward to me watching him interact romanticlly with Chu Ran. He disappointed me as Song Yan. Probably, I'm the only one who thinks that but this drama is mid. Maybe if it was shorter and had 30 episodes or less I would watch this with curiosity, but it's not the first time when novel adaptions with 40 episodes did not work out for me. If you consider reading the novel I definitely recommend you, for me it was much better. Characters were better and I felt the emotions while reading.
I love the ending even though I cried. Maybe it would be better if they had gone with Ji Eum still remember those 3, but I'm not complaining I still love this drama π₯²I loved the OST from Colde so much. I wish they included Ha Do Yoon more in Ban Ji Eum's story because he sometimes was like NPC in their story (especially in her 1st life... like he just stood there). It's definitely gonna be on my list of one of the most favorite dramas. I'll miss Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun together :( I hope that maybe they are going to take another project together in the future.
