If I tell you something is mid. I'm talking about this drama. Everything about it screams mid.
Right? I feel like the beginning was okay but it's definitely too long for 40 episodes. I read the novel and the pacing there was really good. Here we have so many fillers and just unnecessary scenes. Honestly, I think that acting and chemistry are also mid. I've seen YY in other dramas and I feel like he acted better there than here. The chemistry as I see everyone is saying really good but I can't get into YY when he's acting in romantic/intimate scenes or being goofy. They just seem very awkward to me, especially his moves and mimic. Some actors are natural in that behaviour but I don't think Yang Yang suits this role. Also funny when I see other firefighters being so puffed and there's him with no 'defined' muscle. He just stoods out.
This is adopted from a novel which is quite long. And this is S+ Drama or high quality drama so it will be like…
Yes, I still think it's better to do drama with shorter episodes and really well done (recent example hidden love), than 40 episode with a lot budget and dissapointing plot. Before this drama aired I commented that this drama would be perfect with 30 episodes max. I don't know why they still keep going with modern dramas and 40 episodes. It rarely works.

When I was reading the novel I didn't feel bored and angry at the pace, in the drama it's definitely dragging. The stepbrother wasn't shown as much and we had second leads (I think it was the firefighter and nurse) but the the series we have step bro and some worker. I can definitely feel that they are trying to pack everything. I would rather have shorter and specific plot than 40 episodes with filling and drama. I'm not sure I remember correctly but the novel was focused on the couple and their growth and that's what I liked.
I think they are going to wrap it nicely. We already know who ordered the accident. I think episodes 9 and 10 are going to be unwrapping everything and 11 might wrap all together with the beginning of the 12 and here we have a happy ending for at least 30 minutes 😎at least that's my wish. I think the pacing is nice and it's better that this drama has 12 episodes than 16.
I feel like FL stepbrother wasn't as much shown in the novel as he is in the drama. He seems to be having quite a good screen time. Which I absolutely hate and skip.
I really liked 'The Science of falling in love'. There's my comment talking about lead chemistry and how real…
hah, thank you, I hope you'll like it ;) so for good chemistry and a bit of action definitely 'you are my hero'. Thanks to that drama I fell in love with Bai Jing Ting and overall the couple, I remember checking whether there were rumors about them being together lol. It's been quite a while since I've watched it but I surely like to still watch some fragments on tik tok with them and the suspense was great and the plot and script also. 'Road home' with Jing Boran, he is such a great kisser, if not one of the best in cdramaland surely. Very light and cute drama. Another one 'meet yourself' Crystal Liu and the male lead had such a good relationship. I was watching this drama while it was airing and couldn't wait till they sub it so I watched it with English machine subtitles. 'falling into your smile' was also great and 'sweet teeth' and 'our secret' have similar vibes. These are Chinese but also if you watch the Korean drama 'business proposal' for sure, 'find me in your memory'. Some dramas might have more episodes but I assure you I do not watch dramas where there is an annoying love triangle or breakups because they annoy me so much. So I usually avoid them as much as I can. All of these that I just recommended to you are made very well and you do not feel that they are cheap lol. Pick whatever you like and hope you have a good time. Also wish you well in university. I'm just having exams so I'm watching dramas to relax.
Well, this drama exceeded my expectations. Reading comments here and on tik tok, definitely made me think that it was just another silly romance drama but I'm pleasantly surprised. The first few episodes were nothing special but in episodes 5 and 6 you can surely feel the pace and romance being developed beautifully and with fun. Sometimes you just feel that the main actors knew each other before and are comfortable with one another. That's the case here. Yoona and Junho make a good duo with a good script, mood, and scenography. Not that this will be a masterpiece in a kdrama world, but it's on its way to become one of the greater ones. If obviously they won't start dragging the plot and create unnecessary misunderstandings, it's a good start.
I have a feeling Lee Chaemins Character is bad.. this is just based off the vibes he had ep 4 (first appearance)…
I kinda got the vibe that he might wanna get rid of Jieum. Later he hold some "things" in that box as if to perform a ritual and let her go, like she is someone who shouldn't be here anymore.
the plot, the acting, the actor , the script, the chemistry.. ALL IS INSANE! please someone could tell me same…
I really liked 'The Science of falling in love'. There's my comment talking about lead chemistry and how real it felt. The rating is definitely too low for that drama and more people should check it out because it was done amazingly well.
I'm wondering how long they are going to drag the thing with Sang Zhi University's "lover" and the girl who's pestering Jiaxu, and why the heck she won't ask him if he has a girlfriend? The misunderstandings are gonna be something... like ask and talk and your doubts will be removed. I wonder how many happy episodes we're gonna get with them happy considering we will also have to get Jiaxu's backstory 😐
i have too much to say 😂 we’re halfway through so I wanted to write everything. is it the writing or am I…
For me, it's also too many episodes. 12 would do the job with good pacing. I'm on ep 6 and kinda lost interest :\ maybe I'm just used to faster pacing and how nowadays dramas are 12 episodes with no stupid packed/pushed actions.
Everyone I have a question. I'm on ep 3 and FL is going to school and she's presented as ML distant relative. Is it later questioned by other people why she lives with her teacher and that they are getting closer to eo romantically and it doesnt affect their romance? Also does her being a student plays a big role in drama?
It's so beautiful, I wish they dropped all 12 episodes 🥲kinda my TMI is that dramas often remind me of songs, and this one is Keshi - understand. After every episode, I like to listen and read the comments ☺️ Shin Hye Sun looks stunning as Ban Ji Eum all of them do 💕
I'm not ready to say goodbye, we just began watching episode 1, what do you mean we will not see Kim Sa Bu anymore and the Doldam team? 😭I got attached, I'm not ready to miss our exceptionally well-written characters, and superior couples😫 Still wish that there is gonna be a new season with maybe new characters or I don't know maybe the screenwriters and directors gonna start a new line of saving people. For example drama about firefighters? Would be kind of epic 💕🫡
Right now Da Jung is more likable than Ro Um, but I guess that's how it's supposed to be. Still for a 180-IQ genius... too much. I like Moo Young's character, he's so inconspicuous. I really like the interactions between Da Jung and Moo Young, they seem like they could be really good friends.
Damn, Huo is really pathetic. What was in the mind of screenwriters to do him like that? Episode 22 is 75% him and again his feelings. How long can you drag that? As I said somewhere earlier this drama should have been 30 episodes max. Right now we are in the moment where a lot is dragging. It's been a long time since I saw 2ML so bad and stupid, and he runs a company. Be fr he stupid af.
