Jesus, I just came traumatised from 'My boss' after seeing the first episode and seeing Xingxu in another drama. My heart is healed. Can someone tell me if this has a love triangle? And how is this drama related to the ones mentioned above?
Damn, I really had some expectations seeing Xing Xu and the photos (he looked very nice on them) but I'm only 15 minutes into 1st episode and it's such a struggle ๐ซ I really thought we're gonna get more mature romcom, but the FL behavior is terrible. When are we gonna get over it? (super infantile girl) I get it, if she's working with children but lawyer with that attitude towards other adult... it's weird. Edit: [. . .] wow, long time since I've dropped a romcom that fast...
I think China wants to change dramas from fluff to educational. 33 episodes to explain the two careers and make…
I don't think I'm gonna see the difference. Too much fluff or educational things is pretty much the same for me โ boring ๐ด but I think it's not the first time since they are adapting a 'normal' length novel with more episodes than it needs and it backfires. I'm here for the plot and romance, the career should be an addiction not something that should be on the first page (also the careers are often portrayed without any issues or problems, which is weird)
Damn, I think for the first time in my life, I got a second lead syndrome for a second ๐ฅน also they better get a happy and satisfactionary ending or I'm going to Korea ๐ฉ
I think I'm gonna be the only one who was kinda dissatisfied and disappointed. Like, I do really like chill dramas with no misunderstandings, but this was just plain boring. The only ones who were saving it for me were ML and 2ML. Overall, I didn't grow to like how FL was portrayed, either more 2FL. The second couple was a complete missmatch for me, and (mainly Gu Sheng) seemed mentally like a teenager. I wish very much that the censorship in China will go down to hell. Maybe if it was put in 24 episodes... i dont really see the reason why they would make it 33 (with NO 1 mini drama, at least). Like, it was too much of sweet for me.
It annoys me too. It feels like Mo Qing Cheng is singlehandedly carrying their relationship with all the conversations,…
With the first 2 sentences, you said exactly what needed to be said. I haven't read the novel because I saw that she is 'like that', so I politely skipped. He truly carries the series and this is why exactly I love when both of the leads are more open.
She always annoys me with the thing when she answers 'mhm'. Like, girl your hearing is alright. I wish she has more confidence in herself and is more bold. For me, very shy female leads are less enjoyable. Either way, it's my first drama with Tian Jian Ci but he's slaying.
I really hope they will go with them less miscommunicating. Like, I hope they won't drag it and make them behave their age. Also, thinking of their age, I was very surprised that they are portrayed as almost 40. I see them as 32 max. 40-year-olds surely won't be behaving like that. Another thing is that I'm sensing that the other friend will have a crush on her (or always had), but I hope I'm wrong. I really hope that when they gonna get together, they won't be hiding it before the world, cause it's look like like they will, and they will get together quickly and resolve their issuess together.
even though I love it, it has been cuteness overload for the past few episodes I wish there was some kind of diversity between characters. Firstly, my man Wen Yuan (Jue Mei) please do get more main roles. He kinda of reminds me of Kim Ji Hoon (Love to Hate You), he's so hot in this drama. For diversity, I wish (I know it is based on a novel so it's just my feelings) that Jue Mei's love character was fought for. When he fell in love with Xiao Xing it kinda felt random (?), and she still seems to be so awkward around him, I don't see the chemistry. The only character I find more girl boss is Dou Bing, she's my favorite. Gu Sheng is kinda plain (kinda forgettable). Also, will it be explored later why Mo Qing Cheng fell in love with her so quickly? I kinda got the feeling that he knew her in the past. Overall, it seems to be a pretty chill drama, wish maybe there would be more angst (?). I rarely go for it, but I just got bored with so many happy episodes.
The only thing I don't like about this drama is the FL styling. I'm on episode 3, but I thought we were over childish buns, accesoriess and clothes. Does it change later? His mind seems to be over 30, but her is like a teenager ๐คจ (forever in my heart FL styling from Hidden Love)
Y'all hear me out: Zhang Ling He and Zhou Ye (or Lu Yu Xiao, she kinda of fits too) but Ling He... visually (just look at his Pinterest photos) and having read the novel he's perfect (also kind of reminds me of Victor Ma) ๐ญ
Like he is not bad, he annoys the SHIT out of me. Plus the actor completely cannot act in this role and just makes…
Well, I'm sad to hear this. Surely, there would be more actors wanting to show themselves to the world with their acting skills and not exactly having the 'wanted' looks.
Like he is not bad, he annoys the SHIT out of me. Plus the actor completely cannot act in this role and just makes…
Yes, I was talking about him. I saw him in another drama and he was not bad, that is why exactly it's very hard for me to watch him. I don't get how he got the role ๐ his expressions are terrible, not natural at all.
Can they just do away with the love craved and obsessed villains in dramas? They are always the same.....
Like he is not bad, he annoys the SHIT out of me. Plus the actor completely cannot act in this role and just makes me cringe. It went all well till he came back.
Episode 15. Omg some people should really shut up. This Young Master, I've never been happier when a person died ๐ฅน please do not comeback (even tho I think you're gonna cause they did not send you back properly ๐ฉโ๐ผ) also this General Pei Yun or whatever he's called, polietly shut up about Li Ni personal life. For me, this Young Master is so annoying that I skip his scenes cause I'm boiling. Plus, the actor can not act in this role. I truly don't understand why they cast such young actors for generals.
Can someone tell me if the PM daughter and that loverboy (general lol) who's gonna get friendzoned intervere in leads relationship much? In ep 7 they are so cute together ๐ฅน and I don't want to see any misunderstandings ๐ฉ
Edit: [. . .] wow, long time since I've dropped a romcom that fast...
