I'll be your cheerleader from the sidelines, cheering you on and sending positive vibes for your sanity! 😂 But seriously, all that name-calling and excessive caps? Talk about a credibility crash landing. No way I'm diving into that last long soliloquy—too much shouting and wild accusations for my taste! 😄

Yes, Lu Si does draw out very raw emotions, which I view as one of her unique talents. 🤣 These opinionated folks have truly mastered the fine art of backhand compliments. 🙄Debating with someone who's as open-minded as a brick wall, even when facts are introduced to counter the opinion—exhausting and ultimately pointless. These illogical comparisons feel less like constructive criticism and more like a dig aimed at dragging an actor/actress down . So, I can only shake my head and move on before I get dragged into the pit of negativity and name calling.

Thanks for the recommendations and will definitely check them out. I believe I did agree that education has it's merit and will be a benefit. Again you are comparing this young woman who made her acting debut, in her late teens, in 2017, so 7 years ago. Al Pacino started in his early teens. Leonardo was a child actor. Cillian Murphy, great actor and love his acting skills. He made his professional acting debut on the stage in 1996, and Peaky Blinders, I believe, started in 2013. That's 17 years of acting experience under his belt before he successfully took on that complex role, yet you are challenging an actress with only 7 years of experience under her belt... is it still fair competition? In my opinion, the real and honest fans, don't lump us all in one group like the 'fanatic fans', are excited about Lu Si's potential to continuously grow and succeed. We praise Lu Si because we believe in her natural talent and her strong work ethics. This is not a comparison to any other actors, new or seasoned, and definitely not a declaration of ultimate godliness.. only haters are that delusional.

I thought you were rational until I read this comment. From what I've seen, no one is suggesting Lu Si is in any competition with De Niro—let’s be real, that’s just wishful thinking. Plus, the bankable traffic actors you listed are seasoned, older, with years of experience under their belts, so comparing Lu Si to them is a bit like pitting a talented rookie against a seasoned champion. I mean, seriously, why bring up Bai Lu, or any of these actresses and compare them at all? And you say you don't want a fan war?? And for the love that is all holy, why even mention Leo Wu? This is a page dedicated to Lu Si's drama, and last I checked, he’s got zero ties to it. You’re the only one dragging his name into this, and yet you’re calling us fanatic, cultist assholes? Talk about irony! Here you are trolling on 'The Story of Pearl Girl,' comparing a young starlet to seasoned veterans, while labeling us as fanatics. Very hypocritical of you.

Could you suggest some of the new actresses that are formally trained and portray method acting effectively? I would like to check out their work as I am currently having trouble finding a good drama/film that will keep my attention. Thanks in advance.
For the sake of debate, are we all remembering that Lu Si is only 25-26? She’s got years of growth ahead before we can compare her to 30+ seasoned veterans. Unless you’re stacking her current skills against your list of great actors when they were still figuring it out in their 20s? Also, I gotta disagree with the idea that an acting degree or 'formal training' makes or breaks an actor. Sure, it can help polish their craft and boost connections, but it’s not the golden ticket. Some of the best never started out with a fancy degree.
Christian Bale was not classically trained but was a child actor. The master he admired, emulated, and learned from was none other than Rowan Atkinson, aka Mr. Bean. Russell Crowe tried to study at the ‘National Institute of Dramatic Art" but later dropped that idea. Johnny Depp started to study acting after getting some acting experience under his belt. Meg Ryan, Charlize Theron, etc.
So yeah, it comes down to taste, and even critics have their own biases and preference, but there's more than one way to master the craft to any profession. Maybe Lu Si’s growth will benefit from some added 'formal' training, but talent doesn’t always follow a textbook. She’s got time and will figure out her career path and what she needs to do as she gains more acting experience under her belt.

Oh, that scene had me ugly crying . And when he told her to just forget about 💔, you know, because of that stupid aunt? Talk about a punch to the heart! 😭 I felt that Lu Si and Wang Anyu absolutely slayed those scenes. TLI was my first xianxia too, and I was not emotionally prepared for all the heartbreak and endless trials. Why do they gotta do us like that?!
Am I the only one who prefers historical drama over morden ones?
Right there with you, friend! I feel that there's just something about costume and historical dramas that hits different—way more magic than the modern ones ever could.
Congrats to Zhao Lu Si for becoming a global spokesperson for Chando facial masks. Here’s to inspiring all of us—young, old, and fabulously in between—to embrace our flaws while glowing up and treating ourselves right with natural beauty and self-care tips.
She’s just found out that she allergic to many food/ingredients that she loves, like yolk and dairy 😭😭😭.…
Imo, all that PS nonsense the haters throw around is just jealousy in disguise. They’ve been at it since she was barely out of her teens, all because she didn’t fit their cookie-cutter idea of beauty. Now that she’s blossomed into a beautiful young woman while remaining humble and kind, they can’t handle the fact they were completely wrong the whole time. Guess it's easier to spread rumors than admit they underestimated her true beauty.
The promotion material will come out before the drama start. Press conference, fan meet, the interview could be…
Thanks! I've seen the interviews with her other co-stars and they were always so funny and entertaining. Can't wait to see her chemistry with LYN and William Chan in these upcoming interviews as well.

😭Aww, poor thing! Must be hard. Saw a vid where she had rashes—totally feel her, those can be painful. I saw the Go Fridge vid, and she mentioned she's allergic to some seafood, which she also loves. Hopefully there's substitutes that she'll love.
Reading your comment feels like stepping into the Twilight Zone! What synopsis did you read?? Better yet, what…
Thanks! I like to keep my youthful energy vibrant and my wit sharp. Did my little nugget of wisdom soar right over your inflated ego? Must’ve been just too highbrow for your current setting, huh? How’s your kindergarten-level course going? Have you graduated from chewing on crayons to learning the alphabet yet? Maybe one day you’ll figure out how to color inside the lines and stop licking the glue off those colorful stickers, but hey—progress takes time, right? Keep at it!
@Tina Summer It’s a shame you spent all that energy on cooking up some half-baked nonsense instead of learning how to spell. Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning are too busy building successful careers to even bother with whatever fever dream you're having. You seem so eager to talk about scandals, but the only scandal here is your tragic grammar and nasty personality. You should really work on spelling properly—you need to write your name on a police report when the defamation lawsuit rolls through. So, why don’t you go ahead and reserve a seat for yourself at the "I need attention" table, because The Story of Pearl Girl will be just fine because the interest is real and growing, even if you toot your sad little trolling party until you're blue.
