And let’s not forget Lusi's Guzheng cover of the LLTG OST—I wasn’t ready for how impressed I’d be. I love string instruments and I'm a sucker for wicked guitar riffs. Yeah, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, they own a piece of my soul. Now, I’m diving headfirst into Chinese music, and Hidden Love was my gateway drug. 🤟

I heard Lusi isn't diving into the movie scene just yet—she’s focused on accumulating experience and sharpening her acting skills. I always thought she's smart, and honestly, it makes total sense with the current projects she's picking. Story of Pearl Girl is all about character growth, giving her the perfect platform to flex those acting muscles and showcase her growth, and then we’ve got Love’s Ambition and Almost Lover—not your basic rom-com fluff, and she’s working alongside some serious veteran actors. It's like she’s playing chess, not checkers, and I'm super excited to see how she evolves and the roles she'll take on next. Fingers crossed for another Wu Gang collab—those father/mentor-daughter vibes in Gen Z was pure gold.

I’m crossing my fingers that Lusi blesses us by singing a Story of Pearl Girl OST too! I’m still obsessed with the Hidden Love and The Last Immortal soundtracks. And Silence Wang—his voice could probably melt glaciers. Love his songs, love his vibe, love everything!

You know the type—servants and concubines treated like property, or characters enslaved or captured in war. But honestly, the real focus here isn’t just about the slavery. It’s about the FL’s emotional strength, her growth, and how she shatters those chains (literally and figuratively) to claw her way to freedom and success. It’s that kind of underdog story that hits deep in any culture, because, let’s be real, humanity’s history is full of struggles like that.

Honestly, when big-name investors jump in, you know they’ve done their homework. They’re not throwing cash around for nothing. I’m willing to bet they’ve seen more sneak peeks—maybe even the whole thing—and are banking on this drama being a massive hit both at home and abroad. Translation? Watching Mr. Queen for the 5th time (because why not), and Shin Hye Sun is still an absolute queen of comedic timing. She never misses! Hands down, one of my favorite actresses. And then there’s Kim Jung Hyun. Talk about a first impression! He didn’t just play a traumatized, bullied king, he became Cheol Jong. I was so blown away that I went full detective mode and Googled his life story. Turns out, he’s been through real-life mental and emotional battles—like serious abuse and depression. I had male friends who went through similar situations and it turned tragic. Sure, he made mistakes, but the man has owned up to them and is putting in the work to turn things around. Honestly, hats off to him for walking through the fire, coming out stronger, and brave enough to face toxic haters. So glad he did, because Mr. Queen is now permanently etched in my list of faves. 👑✨

Let’s be real—Seo Hyun and Kim Jung Hyun both got the short end of the stick here. Yeah, Kim Jung Hyun wasn’t exactly a ray of sunshine to Seo Hyun, but when you’re being manipulated, bullied, and emotionally wrecked by someone you love (hello, ex-girlfriend!), it’s not so easy to separate personal chaos from your professional life. Dude was going through it. Depression is no joke, especially when the person who’s supposed to care for you is the one doing the damage. So yes, Seo Hyun was the innocent in all this mess, and she didn’t deserve the cold shoulder and rude treatment from a co-star, but let’s not ignore the fact that Kim Jung Hyun was also a victim in this toxic web.
